John the Plumbing Expert is a family-operated business with over a hundred years of combined experience. Our purpose is to deliver assistance that exceeds your satisfaction. We would be grateful if you allowed our crew to assist your home.
Our craft history goes back to the turn of the century in NJ, where our grandfather first learned the plumbing. He started Krobatsch Plumbing and Heating in the mid-1940s, which is where our father John carried on the legacy. Our parents fell in love with South Florida and traveled to the Pompano Beach area each year. During one of their visits, they found a opportunity on a home they couldn't ignore. In an instant, they sold our home in New Jersey and transferred to our mom and dad's beloved vacation location.
John the Plumbing Expert was established in Pompano Beach in 1979 as a one-man venture. Our dad, John, had no grand ambitions; he simply wanted to deliver top-notch support to his clients. His goal of residing in South Florida had become a reality, allowing him to create a solid family life and enterprise. Sadly, our dad passed away from cancer in 1987 at the age of 53.
At that time, his boys, John and David, purchased the company from our mom. Both John and David had extensive plumbing experience before taking over the company; plumbing was virtually their only line of work since they were young. John had established his own venture, and David was the foreman of a major local plumbing firm at the time of our dad's passing. Rather than letting the legacy our dad had built over the years waste away, they chose to become co-owners. They drove together in the one truck the company owned until they accumulated enough funds to buy an additional truck and tools. John and David ran the company out of our mother's house until 1999 when the company needed additional room to expand. At that time, the third son, Michael, joined the company after graduating from college. Michael also had extensive plumbing knowledge, having helped with John and David since he was a child and while enrolled in college.
