Found these folks on Yelp. Had never heard of them before, but appreciated the very positive reviews. Excellent experience. I wanted a whole-house water shut-off we could get to without crawling under the house. This was not an emergency, but they got back to me as promised. John (the other John) took time to understand what I wanted, did a great job, cleaned up nicely, and charged what I considered a fair price. Will have them back again when I need plumbing service, maybe HVAC too. I recommend them highly.

Nick and Collin came out early this morning when other plumbers couldn't get to my job for four to eight days (without weekend rates). (It was a minor emergency, but one that could get worse.) They did great work, were friendly and polite, and left no mess. And the job cost me much less than I thought it would.

RECOMMEND WITHOUT HESITATION.

My kitchen sink was completely stopped up as well as a bathroom sink.
They came a couple of hours after I called and fixed the sinks in no time.

Very personable and the price was resonable!

I highly recommend John Solberg Plumbing.

We needed a quick pipe repair due to the location. They answered the phone after hours and were here the very next day. Quick and awesome service...hopefully won't need them again but, if we do, we will definitely give them a call.

These guys are pros. They helped me to get natural gas into my home so I could prepare Thanksgiving dinner on my new stove. My previous plumber had quit without telling me and Thanksgiving was fast approaching. They also took the gas over to the fireplace and installed my new gas logs. Their bill was priced out so you could actually see the cost of everything they did. I didn't feel that their billing was too much for all that they did, and with such short notice.

My family and I were so grateful to be able to have dinner at home on Thanksgiving day.

I have never had to hire a plumber before during the 5 decades I have been married. I always did the work myself. Due to an injury and my age I tried to find one for a corrosion leak I had in copper pipe, since I didn't feel up to doing it myself. All the local handyman plumbers I knew or my friends knew had either retired or moved. I called John Solberg Plumbing for help. I was told they were busy that day, but would contact me that evening after their job was finished. No one called. The next day I was told someone would call me when they finished their big job they were on. They did not call until late. I was told I would be first priority the next morning and they would call me between 8 and 8:30 AM.

I finally got a call around 9:15AM or so. They asked directions to my home. When they finally arrived, they were two very pleasant men who knew their job. I supplied all the materials. After they finished, I asked the lead plumber to give me an estimate on a drain pipe job for my kitchen sink. It is plastic and about 2 an 1/2 sections of 1 1/2 inch pipe using maybe 5 or 6 fittings in an open basement ceiling. The quote was for ""almost a whole day"" and around $800 for the labor! I hadn't ask their hourly rate when I called about the leak. It turned out to be $110 per hour and my bill for fixing the leak was $458 for labor and taxes!! I don't think their travel time and work exceeded 3 hours, but I didn't write the time down.At least 15 minutes of their time was for the estimate. I suspect I can do the kitchen sink drain in about 2 to 2 1/2 hours plus the cost of the pipe and fittings. That would be around $40 to $50. Since they estimated nearly a full day and at $800, I doubt I will ever call them again at those prices. Despite being a good plumber, that is just way too high for me to ever consider them again.

Very satisfied with the work, did what was asked and didn't overcharge me. If I need plumbing work again, will call these folks. Highly recommended!

I've called these guys a few times for different problems over the years and they are always professional and effective. The prices are good and they don't try to find pieces and parts to charge your for if you can get them other places and take care of installing it yourself. They are always willing to explain what is going on and give your an honest assessment of the situation. I will keep calling them for all of my plumbing and heating and cooling needs.
