UPDATE - in response to John Owens response:

There was no ""fix""... The faulty part that wasn't changed leaks water all over my driveway 24/7 because it still needs to be changed... Yes, there's heat but clearly it's not fixed.

And I didn't have your tech change the part because he did not have it in his truck... He searched for it for 10-15 mins and when he didn't find it I said I'd schedule a replacement later.

The fact is that the tech accidentally got the system temporarily working while diagnosing what was wrong - for John to bill this as a ""fix"" and also want to get paid to come back and ACTUALLY fix it by replacing the part seems like a very dishonest - and needlessly greedy - business practice.

Called yesterday about our water pressure and they immediately dispatched Tim to suss out the situation. Within 30 minutes Tim was at our house and figuring out what the issue was with our 25 psi water pressure. Within 10-15 minutes Tim had us back up and running with 75 psi water pressure! We then moved to our radiant in floor heating and within 35 minutes had that system all balanced out! Tim and John Owens Plumbing, Thank You, because it really sucks taking a shower that is a trickle!!

Our boiler died and we tried calling other companies but had no luck. I found John Owens Services online and filled out the contact form on their website after normal business hours. Early the next morning I received a call from a woman *(maybe Beth?) who was very helpful. She scheduled a technician to come out that morning. Soon thereafter we were very fortunate to get a visit from boiler technician Temo Keilt, who was incredibly knowledgeable about our boiler and had it up and running in no time. We could not have been happier with the service we received! When we expressed interest in exploring other heating solutions, Temo patiently explained the pros and cons of different systems. He definitely knows his stuff! Thank you Temo & John Owens Services for saving us from the cold on such short notice!!!

I could not believe that they came the same day that I put in a request to repair my on-demand water heater, during the Holidays! They not only fixed the problem, they also diagnosed the status of my water heater. When it fails, I am calling John Owens Services for a new one and service.

This was the first time we used John Owens to do an annual inspection of our in-floor radiant heat boiler. We decided to switch from the previous plumbers we used over the past few years as they got a bit gimmicky and hard sell with services. Temo Keilt was the John Owens technician; he showed up on time, was professional, curtious and efficient. He discovered a small issue and took care of it right away. We'll definitely call them back next year for the annual boiler inspection and for any future boiler or plumbing work needed.
