WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN! We bought a house just 3 months ago that was a total rehab and John Klein was hired to take care of all the plumbing. Our FIRST night in our ""new"" home ALL 3 of my toilets AND showers were clogged and backed up. After his team came and ""fixed"" it we had ANOTHER issue the following night.. He was TERRIBLE about returning any of my calls and is IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of.

After that dreadful experience he told us to give him a call when the Summer came around that he needed to turn on our AC system. As the 80 degree weather began escalating I reached out to him because of course we were dying of heat, and to no surprise he never answered me. I had to reach him AGAIN a week later, after living in 90 degree weather with no AC for a week, and he acted like he never received my messages. Talk about BAD business!!

It doesn't end there; when he FINALLY sent a team to turn it on (because God forbid he can actually come himself) by the end of the FIRST day of finally having AC my ceiling began leaking in several places! It wasn't installed properly and there was a pipe that was not even attached! So after waiting on him I had to go another night with no AC. Like are you kidding me!?

I have never experienced such bad business culture, lack of communication and urgency. This guy is all about the money and if it's not a paid job, just one he simply has to finish what he started, he has no time to waste on you. Here's a tip Mr. Klein happy customers mean referralsss, unhappy customers means burnt bridges and negative reviews.

Don't waste your time and money people; I don't care what price he's offering NOT WORTH THE STRESS! My FIRST home owning experience has been one headache after another and it has all be related to what Mr. Klein was responsible for. Embarrassing.

The work was done promptly and properly, but be wary folks. I realized much too late that Klein Plumbing had charged me a lump sum for a 4 man-hour job, and that there was no parts cost and hourly rate basis for the lump sum amount. When I obtained the parts cost days later, and computed an hourly rate, it came to $137 per man-hour! Was I overcharged? I thought so, since a 4 M-H job Klein did for me 1 year earlier, on a time and materials basis, was charged at $75 per M-H.

Our 27 year old furnace decided to fail in a big way during the coldest few days of the year. We were experiencing 6 degrees during the day with 30 mph winds on a Sunday. (Wind chill caused two frozen pipes) Unfortunately when we came home our was like a ice box.
We called John Klein pluming and heating and the acted very quickly. We had a new furnace install right very quickly and the took care of two broken pipes with ease! These guys rock!
I just wish ""we"" caught the problem much earlier!

I had been having pressure problems for years just figured it was my pressure tank which we knew needed replacing. My husband bought & replaced new one & pressure was worse! I called John Klein plumbing because my husbasnd wanted to replace well pump next ($$$$ costly job) They were on time & within minutes diagnosed my problem. Not only was my pressure switch bad but previous plumber installed in wrong place! So glad I called. I have pressure like never before. It was a quick, easy & inexpensive fix.

John Klein serviced our boiler. Never again! The system was not installed properly. He sometimes has his son do the jobs for him. His son does not know what he's doing. He made a bad situation worse. When I addressed it to John Klein, he aggressively and unprofessionally replied that his son has been working with him for years.

When I asked him for a receipt for the last job his son did, he said to call his office. When I spoke to the receptionist, she said she would return my call after speaking to JK. I never received a return call.

Some people in my neighborhood were serviced with JK. No one seems to be happy with his services, and needless to say, his unprofessional attitude. Never again!

Read reviews before having major work done at your home. It's worth it.
