I'm very sad to have to write this review. We hired him for a job. He started the job, but never finished. He would say he would be here to finish and then would not show up. After repeated phone calls with no responses, we had to hire another plumber.

I had a pipe burst that holds all the pressure to my house. I started the fix but realized I was in over my head once I saw the corrosion kept continuing further. John was the only plumber that called me back, after trying 3. He was personable and laughed when I let him know what jerry rigged did he was about to find. He wanted to make sure I got my water back on quickly and immediately sent one of his guys out to finish digging the hole I started and they had it fixed up and my water back on super quickly and efficiently. Now I don't have to continue showering at the neighbors and can give my ducks fresh water. I will absolutely use him again... though I hope I never have a reason to.

Nice guy but horrible communication and no sense of urgency. Wouldn't respond to me most of the time despite texts or calls/messages. Took so long I chose to ignore our home warranty and pay for someone who will deliver on time as promised.

Came home today (a Saturday) to the water heater leaking after a 4 day camp trip. Called John within minutes as I needed H2O and hoped to have it fixed by Monday at the earliest with tomorrow being Easter.

John was here within 10 minutes and fixed the problem immediately!!!

This guy is the worst.
We called him with a water heater issue on Wednesday, and he said he'd come check it out on Friday. He didn't show up and didn't call. So we were still without hot water going into the weekend.
We wanted to go with someone else, but the homeowners wanted us to use their American Home Shield contract, and they assigned John Chan for the job. Called him on Monday, and all he could say was that he didn't know when he could schedule. Called a couple of times after that, no answer, no call backs, no texts, nada.

In the past I have called John and not received a call back at all. This time John did not call back right away but I did get a call the following day. When he did call back he worked with me to find a time he could come out and look at our leaking hot water heater. He was scheduled to come out mid afternoon. I called three times during the day to check in and he never answered (and never showed). He called me the next day and apologized and asked when we could re-schedule. I had already found someone else to come out at that point. I know that people are very busy but he could have at least called and let me know he wouldn't make it.

It started when our booster pump went out on a Sunday, so we called John Chan Plumbing left a message, and then we called back Monday morning, but he couldn't make it out until the next day. After 3 days without water, John came, assessed the problem, ordered the pump, and it was another day and a half until we got water. Ever since the new pump was installed, the water pressure has been terrible: there are weak trickles coming out, then stronger a little later, but nothing consistent, except for weak pressure. Now, we can understand there may be another issue or an adjustment to the pump, but before the pump went out, the water pressure was great. So, we called John Chan, and he said he couldn't make it out until sometime the following week. We were patient, but no call from him all week, and we have now called a total of 7 times, left messages, asked if he was ok, but no response whatsoever, not even a courtesy call. It's been 4 weeks now, and I suppose he is ghosting us. After a $1,665.00 bill (which we paid immediately) I would expect much better service, and at least a courtesy call back. While we have recommended his work to friends in the past, I cannot in good faith, recommend his services nor professionalism after this terrible experience.

Phone/mailbox was full for about a week... was a referral by my home warranty... took weeks to get someone to come out... then totally disappeared - no response to my calls OR the home warranty company. Plumber that came out was a good guy... business owner deserves to be out of business - DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.
