I've dealt with this company a few times in the last year and 1/2.
I've used them for anything from getting a new air conditioner installed to something as small as a leak in the bathroom.
The technicians are always very prompt, clean and knowledgeable.
The last couple of times I was lucky enough to get JayQuan over as the technician. This guy is great! Very friendly, courteous and treats my home like it was his own.
I think I'm going to start requesting him.
Again, great guy.

The technician was prompt, polite and professional and quickly provided the service required. My only complaint is the price. The brand new cooktop was already installed, as was the gas line. All that was required was connecting the hose from the cooktop to the gas line, but the connectors were two different sizes. It literally took 10 minutes or so for the technician to assess the job, go out to his truck and retrieve an adapter, install the adapter and connect the hose. The cost of this service was $485 (less a $75 coupon for a total of $410), which I later found out was considerably more than what it should cost. Again, John C. Flood responded quickly with quality service, but their service is quite pricey.

While the servicing professional was nice, this company was a racket. Price started at $99 to come and consult then another $220 for simply cleaning a flame sensor. What!?!?! When I said no, they said only $98 not $220. When I said no again he showed me the OG ($345) price that he never quoted because he himself thought it was too high. I told him that any company that is dropping their price twice for a ""discount"" of more than 60% is not a good faith business and I didn't appreciate the dishonesty. I felt bad for the guy but basically ended up paying $208 all in and telling him I'd never call them back again.

I have been a homeowner since 1988 and have dealt with numerous companies to maintain my HVAC unit. Two years ago, I started using John C. Flood after the previous contractor combined HVAC and plumbing, which I didn't want, and doubled the price. The techs who have come to check my unit have been wonderful. They are cheerful, happy to explain what is going on, and are on top of things that could be an issue down the line. Recommend them highly.

Had a yearly checkup done in April. Technician, after finishing, recommended $7.1K for system enhancements on systems JCF installed 4 years ago. Also, estimate of 4.6K to replace a water heater. Their water heater cost, by itself, was $4K for a 50 gallon unit. Home Depot has 50 gal water heaters (gas) for around $700 for the unit itself. During the checkup, technician never put gauges on either unit to check coolant. Also, technician forgot to put outside unit disconnect back in, which I discovered after turning unit on for first time and house wasn't cooling. I found the disconnect sitting by disconnect box. I don't recommend John C. Flood.

I wanted to share that I was given a price quote for mini splits, signed the contract and had confirmation sent back to me. I called to schedule the work the next business day and was uncharged by $3,700. for the job which was a deal breaker. I felt this was a breach of the contact and would not recommend them as this was very unprofessional and shady if I might add.
