WOW!!! What a lifesaver! Came when he said he would, finished within his two hour time frame AND not only did the one job I had asked for in record time, but then tackled and completed my list of ""do you think it's feasible and if so might you be able to pencil me in again"" tasks - what a pleasant surprise for my other half to come home to later. Even more to my joy, he is highly ethical and informed me when one job simply would not be doable as it would result in damage in the near future. Others would have just taken our money and run leaving us with a mess later. What a relief to find honest, reliable and competent - LICENSED - professionals. :-) I'm going to start on my next list... hahaha

Very happy with the quality of John's work and how quickly he gets it done. He repaired a wall, textured, repainted a bathroom, installed a toilet, put in a new steel door and cut in a dog door for me - all of it was great and done in just a few days.

As he was leaving I realized there were more things I should have asked him to do... So I'm starting a new list for the next time I have him out. I've also recommended him to my parents that hope to use him soon.

John has done a ton of work on my house over the last year and a half. He will do a complete job or part of it depending on what you want without pressuring you into stuff you don't need. For example, my hubby tried to install a ceiling fan (which he has done multiple times previously), but the way our attic was designed made it difficult to get to the room where we wanted the ceiling fan. My hubs ended up putting his steel-toed boot through the ceiling. John came out, did the electrical and other set-up in the ceiling and turned the hole into the ceiling into a better attic access than what the house originally had (at my request). My hubs then attached the ceiling fan in the room and finished the electrical himself. John has also helped us with running electrical for installation of new recessed lighting, surround sound, and tv (with cables in the wall). He also helped my husband with retexturing our living room ceiling and it looks wonderful! He also came out with his brother to install new baseboards on a time crunch! He also built a wall and installed a door when the master bath didn't have one at all. All of the work is professional and looks awesome! He matched the wall to the texture on the surrounding walls perfectly! He even helped install a new bathtub upstairs for us! He is also very reasonably priced and will tell you if it is more worth your time and money to try a different route.

He is a drywall and texture expert so if you need any of that kind of work done, don't look anywhere else! We will definitely be having him return to do more work and I love how he lets my hubs do some of the work himself (since my hubs did repairs like this once upon a time- just not for residential jobs).

John helped us at the 11th hour with moving and reinstalling our washer and dryer. Just a little background, we live in Texas and needed our washer and dryer moved from the laundry room. This was to allow the plumbers to replace our water heater and do some work there, requiring the washer and dryer to be moved out. I called two days before I needed his services, and he was able to work us in with his already packed schedule. What made John stand out for us was how he asked what we needed done and didn't write us off immediately due to the time constraints, like several other individuals in his profession had prior to us contacting him. He worked with our tenant and was able to schedule a time that worked for her during the work week. Constantly keeping us in the loop and keeping his prices very fair, we absolutely will use John in the future and highly recommend his services. Thanks again John!

Great, reliable company!! We hired John to run an electrical line with an emergency shut-off switch to an outdoor above ground Jacuzzi spa. His approach to getting the line from point A to point B far exceeded another electrician we spoke with. He also stuck with his price even though it was a bit tougher to run the line under our grass than I'm sure he expected. He met absolutely all of our expectations and we highly recommend his services.

We first found John when we needed a ceiling fan replaced in our bathroom that required someone to work in a narrow edge of the attic. John came over with an assistant and they replaced it and cleaned up afterward. He was a very nice man and very reasonably priced.

I made sure to keep his number and when the hot water heater in our rental home went out, we called John to replace it. He was knowledgeable and did a great job on that installation also!

We now keep John's information close at hand and he is our go-to guy.

I hired a handyman and the day before he was to start he was injured and unable to do the work for an indefinite period of time. I was desperate so I searched Yelp and found John Belanger Construction. Based on all his great reviews, I contacted him. I cannot say enough nice things about John! He came out, gave us very fair and reasonable estimates (we had a list) and completed all of the jobs quickly. During these jobs several other unrelated issues came up (old 1927 house!) and John fixed those too! We kept saying ""Thank goodness for John!"" When he installed a wall dog door in a carpeted room, he used a cardboard to catch the debris and then used his own vacuum to finish cleaning up - I was very impressed. Suffice it to say that John is now our #1 Handyman! John does excellent work and he can basically do anything - I would recommend him to anyone who needs a handyman or remodeling! He carefully describes what needs to be done, makes his recommendations, sets a price, does the work and cleans up everything very nicely - no surprises, just great work. You can tell he takes pride in his work!
