Ace just installed a new sink/vanity in the bathroom in my 100-year-old home and did a great job. He also repaired the shut-off valves in the bathroom. His work was meticulous and the project came in under the estimate. I wouldn't hesitate to call Joe's again.
Horrible! I can't believe what I saw. A nightmare remodel. Joe's price may sound reasonable but it comes at a cost- the safety of your home will be compromised. Drilling through the foundation of the house so you won't have to lower a pipe? Now the house is unstable. Not using the proper adhesives... shoddy work overall. Then he covers it up with a subfloor so you can't see all the dangerous shortcuts. By the time you realize the compromises he has made it may be too late. Thank goodness this customer checked out the work. Now Joe is unreachable. Will not return calls. Will not stand by his work. Please reconsider if you are thinking about hiring this company. What they have done is criminal
Joe gave a very reasonable quote to replace 2 sinks and a toilet. Ace did a quick and very clean and professional job...everything is working great. I would highly recommend Joe and his team.
I hired this person Joe Nolan to attach my well to my brand new construction of my house. In our initial verbal coversation.... He said he would run the well water before attaching it to the house. He never did this..... He first lied about it point blank to my face and said he did. And then stated that he did not. This has caused sediment and dirt in my brand new plumbing. He also installed a pump up toilet in my basement which consistently smells the company Saniflo has stated that there is an install issue - that it was not installed correctly. The pump up toilet also could be ruined because of all the sediment and dirt in my water lines from when He did not run the water to my well before installing it.
Joe Nolan does not care about this. He did a complete botched job. This was over a year ago. When I finally moved forward after recouping my loses with him.... which I found out I was completely over charged a total of $8704.80 He completely cut corners on everything. He has also done structural damage to my home.
This is what I found under my sub floor in my house. Joe Nolan hid this. He cut into my foundation beams. Jeopardizing the integrity of the structure of my house. Joe Nolan did not think I was ever gonna pick up the sub floor and see this.
He also did not glue plumbing pipes correctly. They just collapse apart with light pressure.
When he was at my house..... over a month ago .... he did not fix anything. We looked at the problem with the venting on the third story and when Joe Nolan touched it... The Vent pipe in the ceiling completely collapsed in his hand.
He has 2 helpers....He charged me $300 per hour for him and 2 helpers. Derek Legoff from Saugerties NY(who you can google and see what he is arrested for) and Christopher Rose of Saugerties NY. I am looking into see if his 2 helpers are receiving Medicaid, Heap, Food Stamps while getting paid off the books by Joe Nolan.
He will not go over my bill. He will not call me back. He will not help me. He has costed me alot of stress and thousands of dollars.
I am currently having all of his plumbing work redone.
I also have to sister foundation beams... Brand new construction. I had to get a carpenter to do this.
Please see the pictures I have attached. This is what I found under my sub floor. The pictures are taken from above the floor looking down at the pipes. You can see how he cut my foundation beams.
This Place is the Best!! Went through HomeAdvisor and saw the excellent reviews. Explained to them my problem and they were here within a couple of hours. ""Ace"" came in and took a look at it and made a fix and just charged me for the minimum charge. He was professional, great handshake, and never upsold or tried to paint a bad picture. FANTASTIC! Then my curiosity got the best of me and I tried to change one of the filters myself, and had to call them again. Joe himself came out first thing this morning and we both agreed it was time to change the filter and I asked him for an estimate and when he told me the price, I hire them again! Fantastic organization!
Did an excellent job replacing a drain pipe which flooded my kitchen and set up the new dish washer. Is coming back to do some work in the bathroom. a most pleasant worker - neat and professional.
Sangi V.I had a main water supply leak, also my main shut-off valve and water meter broke.
I needed someone who could do the job and deal with the municipalities.
Joe let us do the digging ourselves so we could safe some money.
He came with his two great guys and did a fabulous job.
Thanks Joe, Reggie and Vincent.
I just had Reggie from Joe's Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning just leave after fixing my heat. I have to say that they have a great company and great employees. Reggie was excellent at answering all of my many questions. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, honest and helpful. I am not disappointed in their service. I certainly would recommend them to anyone and everyone. Having him back to service my A/C.
Competence is hard to find these days!
Great job Joe's Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning!!!
I recently moved to the area and purchased the home that I perceived as ""the one that needed NO work!"" Unfortunately I was quite wrong. Having very few connections in the area, I grabbed Joe's Heating and Plumbing out of the local community newspaper because it was the first one I saw. It was an ad for a $99 annual a/c servicing. When Joe and Reggie arrived, they discovered I had two units, neither working. The diagnosed both and fixed the larger of the two a/c's and didn't charge me a penny over the $99 that was advertised - and should have only been for one a/c - AND they installed a new thermostat for me. They quoted me to repair the second smaller unit - which i debated whether I wanted to invest in it or invest in a second central a/c unit. Finally I decided to repair the smaller ductless system - Joe's came out, repaired it and didn't charge me a dime over the original quote. I've since made some local connections, namely the owners of a prominent local hardware store, and they told me I was in good hands with Joe's. So shortly following my a/c repair, my basement flooded which required extensive work to repair and prevent it from having it again. Likewise I discovered that my inspection report stated I had bacteria in my well and that the previous owners simply shocked the well with chlorine to pass inspection. I opted to buy a whole house water filter and UV filter from Joe's. I price shopped they systems and checked with my new friends at the hardware store and they said it was a good deal... but it gets better. Because of the flooding and the new drainage system installed in my basement my water softener had to be disconnected, moved and the reconnected at the end of the work day. Joe kindly threw in that labor that should have run me at minimum $200 - simply because I bought the treatment system. Currently Joe is running plumbing to extend my half bath to a full bath - his quote came in far less than expected. He and Reggie are working quicker than any of the other contractors for this project and they leave my house cleaner than any of the others as well when they are done with their days work. Reading the previous review, I have to wonder if something legitimately popped up that increased the quote because my experience has been absolutely painless, honest and comfortable. In fact, unlike most plumbers Joe and Reggie have advised me on how to cut some costs, and not taken advantage of my lack of plumbing skills. Absolutely a great home town, trust worthy company that I would recommend to ANYONE!
Did the job fine, but came with an assistant, and charged twice his quoted hourly rate because of this. It was not a two person job, and he should have known this when we talked about it on the phone. Most of the time only one of them could be working. Still he gave me the (single plumber) quote on the phone. At least if he felt he needed two plumbers, he should have made that clear and said the rate would be doubled. Of course then I would have found someone much less expensive. Not really a scam I guess, but not particularly honest either. Needless to say, I will not hire Joe's Plumbing again.
