We had used Joe's Family Plumbing about 2 years ago in a substantial remodel and they had done a wonderful job. Today, we called them back in two replace the cartridge of a Stiebel Eltron tankless water heater that they had installed for us. The technician, Ronnie, was excellent. He arrived promptly, when scheduled. He stressed that to avoid potential issues, we should soak the new cartridge for about 30 minutes before we installed it so it wouldn't be dry before water began running through it. It worked like a charm. Ronnie also did work to increase the water flow on our toilets and spotted/repaired a slow leak that we had not noticed. The amount charged was reasonable and we are delighted with the service. He cleaned up after himself and disposed of the used cartridge and debris from his service. We will definitely use them in the future and we do not hesitate to recommend them.

our company and contractors have used this company for more than 5 years and it never fails they just can't get it together, they don't call you when you ask them to upon arriving at the job, they will start a quote and forget about you for weeks, they will double and triple charge you for the same poor quality work, i should've learned my lesson years ago, in any case there are hundreds of plumbers in town that are much better with plumbing issues and new construction, also their customer service is horrible the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing, when calling the office depending on who you speak with they will all give you different excuses, look around on all the review sites and you'll see what i mean, horrible reviews

Absolutely worst contractor experience ever in 30 years of hiring contractors. Came out to look at the job to provide a quote. I had to call them multiple times to get the quote. Should had taken that as my sign to hire someone else. Received the quote and scheduled the job with them. They never called the day before or the morning of the scheduled date. They did not show up during the scheduled time. I reached out and they said they were delayed on another job but would arrive around noon. Noon came and went with no call or show. Called them again and they rescheduled for the following morning. Showed up late and said they needed to get supplies and do a small job and would be back in an hour. No show again. Called and they said job was bigger than expected, would need to re-quote and would send most experienced person to relook at our job. Scheduled meeting. Again, late. To our surprise same guy who quoted it the first time came to look at the job. Said he would send someone with a camera to get another look at it. No one came, called again. Now scheduled for the next morning. Said they would stay all day and get the job done. Next morning they actually showed up in time, but needed to leave to get the camera. Returned and told us their boss has DOUBLED the price. Our hands are tied because we have another company coming tomorrow to do work that we need this job completed before they can do their job. They were aware of our bind and capitalized on it. They did not even have the courtesy to contact us directly to discuss pricing. They put the men on the job in that position knowing full well we were stuck. I Recommend you look elsewhere for a plumber. Will be reporting them to the BBB after this job is completed. Gave one star because would not post review with a star. They deserve NO Star.

Our house started backing up on a Sunday night. I called Joe's plumbing and spoke with Gayle she said she would call me back in a few minutes with a technicians name. She called me back right away and told me Ronnie would be out soon. Ronnie showed up within15 minutes! He was able to clear the drain line under the house and the issue was resolved. I was very impressed with the timeliness and professionalism. I can't say thank you enough first time used and would highly recommend!

I cannot express enough how lucky I was to find Joe's family Plumbing. They came and fixed the plumbing work that needed fixing in no time at all. The price was very reasonable and the men very polite. It was a good choice on my part and I will pass this on to others. Thank you, Thank you so much.

Do not use this company. They do not follow thru. Will come out and fix simple things such as a clogged drain or pipes, but if you need actual plumbing work done that requires time and """"getting your hands dirty"""" this is not the company you are looking for. I have an old house. The plumbing is old as well. The plumbing under the house needs to be totally redone. In these times, one would think business and status of ones name would be very important. Joe came out quickly, unclogged the pipes as a temporary fix, assessed the issue and told us what needed to be done. He said he'd be back that week. He was not. A few weeks later, our plumbing backed up again. He came out that day (which was good) and unclogged the pipes but never resolved the root cause of the issue . In short, this has happened 4x now. Meanwhile, the toilet backs into the tub (think about that... gross) and the kitchen sink backs into the washing machine. We are unable to use the shower, toilet or kitchen sink when this happens until it's snake out. This is not an issue of carelessness. The only thing he has ever snaked out of the pipes is toilet paper. That's it. He had said numerous times he will be out to do the remaining work but never shows. Meanwhile, were being billed for emergency calls. Simple fix and quick money. That's what they do. Wouldn't ever ever would recommend them.

New home owners, house we bought is in an area where the home inspection doesn't have to look that in depth at the plumbing or water pipes. October 2nd, there was a water mess all over my bathroom and Livingroom floors. Thankfully, my boyfriend Aj & I were able to clean up with no damage to our belongings or the walls of the home. My neighbor spoke very highly of this company and provided us their contact info. Spoke with Gail via phone, she advised there wouldn't be any fees to have someone take a look at our issue, which was incorrect because we were charged a $98 """"Service Fee"""" even though no work was completed that night. David came that Friday night, he advised us that we had a slab leak and would need to replace all of the pipes/plumbing to the house. Since it was getting late, we left our water off and would get the pipes replaced by David on Saturday Oct. 3rd. Our water was off around 9am Friday, we were told that we would focus on this leak replacement & then we'd discuss when to do the rest of the house but this replacement would come off the overall total. Saturday came, I received a call from Gail around 9:30am, she stated that she would get our information to David (since we requested him) and he should be to our house within an hour to an hour and a half. Well he never showed, I gave it time before calling because sometimes things happen & they could have been stuck on another site. So 1pm I spoke with Gail again, she didn't realize that David still hadn't showed up. She said she'd call him and call me back but I never got that call back. So Aj called Joe's and they told him that they were going to send another guy out. They sent Derek, he showed up after 3pm (Still NO water). He wasn't even aware that we had a slab leak, so he didn't have the proper tools to even begin. He left to get tools from another guy in the area, which took about 40mins and he also had to go to Home Depot (took another 30mins) because he didn't have all the parts he needed either. He mentioned to me that he was sent to another house in the area and used all his supplies then, he even admitted that he was supposed to come to my house first but the company didn't provide clear instructions on which location to go to first. When I mentioned the replacement and costs, he told me he wasn't sure what this would cost. I told him that David quoted us $425 for the actual replacement, he called his boss but his boss didn't know either. Derek only did a """"temporary fix"""", instead of a full replacement that David was going to do. Top it off, Derek got blue glue on my tub and didn't clean it off, it took me some hard core scrubbing to get it off. They were very friendly over the phone but the service and communication needs some major work! We just got a call today from Jeremy about an invoice for the work, so I asked if this was the receipt because we never got one after Aj paid over the phone the same day October 3rd, 2020. Jeremy didn't realize we already paid for the service, please start communicating with your team!! We paid $425 for a """"temporary fix"""" and $98 for the """"servicing fee"""", so a total of $523 which was WASTED down the drain!!! We decided to go with another company to fix the pipe/plumbing for the whole house.

When lightning struck in our backyard (6/27/20), our tankless hot water heater would no longer heat up. We called Joe's because we have used them before. They showed up as scheduled & corrected the problem by pressing the reset button. They charged $98 & were here 15 minutes. That includes making out the bill. I felt overcharged for a brief weekday service call with no labor or parts required.

My daughter used these guys first. She was happy with them. When I needed a plumber, she recommended him. We needed the main drain line snaked. We called & they did come out the same day. The guys were very nice and prompt. Here's where it starts to get tricky. See, we had another plumber out a couple years ago. I knew we had a clean out access in front of our house. They insisted we did not. They decide to go up on the roof and snake it through a pipe. They did have things running for a few hours. They also gave us a bill for $300! They said it was because they had to go on the roof. Well, I paid the bill and they left. The next day I called the office because our drains were backing up again. They said they'd call me in the morning. Instead of calling, they were at my door at 8am. I was not expecting them and asked why they didn't call. They said the secretary didn't tell them to. Ok, anyways, they get on the roof and snake it again. It again worked but only a few hours. They said I needed to run cameras through the lines. I'm standing here in the middle of a pandemic with half of our income already gone temporarily and these guys already charged me $300 to snake my drain. The next day I had to call them back. It still did not work. At this time she said the owner refused to come out without running cameras through the line. The secretary stated that they ran 100 feet of snake through from the roof already. I argued and demanded they fix what I paid for. They also refused to take a credit card and insisted on check or cash for payment. They did eventually come back but said they think the pipe is crushed and I need to run a camera. I told them to snake it using the clean out. My husband dug up the entire front yard along the pipes to look for a crushed pipe. By the time they got here he had dug it up to the street. Obviously no pipes were crushed. This last guy did however use the proper clean out that I told the first guys we had. Guess what!? That worked! This guy actually fixed it in under 5 minutes. Did I get the extra $200 they charged me back? Nope! All I got was them to finally do it right and a reminder if they have to come back out again they'll require us to use cameras through the pipes. This after they told me it was $100 to clean a drain but if they get on the roof it's automatically $300! Well, them getting on the roof was not necessary. Them refusing to look for and use the clean out was not necessary. If they would of done it right the first time we all would have saved a lot of time & frustration. I would of also saved $200! So, I'm giving them 3 out of 5 stars. I contemplated only 2 but, they did finally come back out & fix it. Would I recommend them? Probably not. They way overcharged me and basically ripped us off. They also tried to charge even more money to do the job they were already paid to do. All of this in the middle of a pandemic / shut down. None of that is their fault but them refusing to come back, arguing for with a customer and then overcharging me. That is all their fault. For this reason I wouldn't recommend them.
