In a perfect setting you'd never need to pay a stranger to go under the sink. But if that first-world problem happens to you the ideal solution is Joe the Plumber. Joe was punctual and personable installing my new faucet. As many other reviewers have said, Joe is reasonably priced, highly skilled and eager to educate. Instead of charging me for a return visit, Joe taught me to perform a simple task on my own. (My inertia is probably stronger than Joe's empowerment in the end, though.) I sought out a variety of vendors before reaching Joe, mostly larger plumbing operations. How great to discover a single-owner proprietor who is easy-going, economical, extremely competent and responsive. JOE IS ALSO GOOD WITH DOGS. I recommend him enthusiastically!

Yep, another rave for Joe The Plumber! Quick to respond. showed up as promised (including calling me when en route), fixed the clogged basement floor drain, advised us on using enzymes to keep our sink drain clear, noticed a small issue with our dryer vent and fixed it in a jiffy at no extra charge. And his rates are very reasonable.
Knowledgeable, reliable, professional, friendly, and affordable - that's Joe The Plumber!

My kitchen faucet started leaking everywhere making a huge mess. I called Joe and after assessing what the problem could be over the phone, he suggested it could be an easy fix. He gave me some simple instructions on how to check the issue. When I called him back the next day, not sure I was doing the right steps, he walked me through it patiently and, viola! my faucet is now fixed. Bravo to a good business person who's first thought is not to rip people off. He could have easily told me I needed a new faucet, and I would probably would have sadly been out a few hundred. Good business ethic and knowledge to share. I highly recommend him!

My context for plumbers is nonexistent, but Joe was prompt, friendly, and fixed the problem within the estimated time at a very reasonable price. I called Joe on Wednesday, and he came out the next day to investigate what seemed like a complicated clog. He explained the issue and what I can do to keep it from happening again, as well as showed me what to do if it did (his advice: buy a snake). After being faced with a backed-up drain and flooding basement, Joe was worth every penny.

After trying for days (and multiple trips to Home Depot) to replace my toilet valve, I finally gave up and called Joe The Plumber. He called me back within minutes and was so helpful! He gave me some advice on what else to try - and it ended up working! since I can't actually rate his services (because he helped me fix it myself!), I can absolutely give him 5 starts for responsiveness, expertise, kindness and amazing customer service. I will definitely keep his number in my phone for future reference!

I left him several voicemails and, when I didn't hear back from him within 24 hours, I tried the ""contact me"" on the website, I have heard good things about Joe but now I am starting to wonder... if he really wants my business.... I work in sales and this is not how you handle customers...

****** update***** Well Joe emailed me after I wrote the 1st review and stated that he could be there on friday between 12-2... OK cool I took the day off work so I could be at home that day... then at 5:15 AM I get am email from him stated that he could not make it and could come the following week. DUDE THIS IS NOT HOW YOU DO BUSINESS!!! I would have like to write a good review but, I have nothing to work with here, after I read all the good reviews I was like yeah this guy seems like a good choice to do the work I need done.... the worst part is, is that I see his truck 2 blocks from my house all the time... he could walk to my house to do the work... all not good...

Joe was great! Love that my sink is running smooth and he was very friendly. My husband and I had questions. He was happy to answer them and give us advice to save us aggravation in the future.

He was very thorough and his pricing was fair. Definitely worth the call!

Joe just left my home after repairing a leaky shower valve. I needed to book him 2 weeks out because he was busy, but it was worth the wait. He did a great job, left the space clean with no debris, was personable, honest and reasonably priced. I highly recommend him.

By comparison, I had previously used a couple of big name Seattle plumbing companies who offer next day service. They had all sorts of hidden, highly priced, objectionable and mandatory charges. In short, they were dishonest as a means to increase their profit margins. Never again. But NOT Joe!
