On two separate instances, I called Joe asking him concerning his services for my bathtub and sink. Both of which Joe was so helpful and honest in his assessment, which saved me both time and $$$.

A few months ago, my bathtub started getting a bubbly surface and Joe had me email a photo of my bathtub. After a discussion with Joe on the phone, he determined it was would involve his services, saving me time and money.

Now just a few days ago, I called Joe about a problem with my airgap in my kitchen sink. Joe was able to diagnose the problem over the phone and instructed me on how the issue could be easily resolved on my own.

For future plumbing problems that will require a professional, I can say without hesitation that I will be calling Joe, because he is so knowledgeable, professional, and honest.

Joe was a true saint! I was about to pay over $150 to have another plumber come out and fix our broken Grohe shower handle, when I called Joe after having read some other excellent Yelp reviews. He promised me he could walk me through fixing it on my own. Who would do that?! I didn't believe I could do it on my own, but he patiently walked me through it and, sure enough, we now have a functioning shower once more! He saved us a lot of money and time and we really appreciate his help. I wish I could do more to say how much we are glad we discovered Joe. We will definitely use him for any plumbing issues that arise in the future. So should you!

We just purchased a house in QA with various small plumbing repairs. We were very satisfied with the degree of customer service and the quality of the repairs. Joe's rates were very fair and he worked quickly and expertly to minimize our expense. AMAZING. He even ""found"" the main water shut off instantly-- after the home inspector (who apparently is a big time contractor in the area) couldn't ""find it"". LOL! Will use again for all of our plumbing repairs!
PS--- We had a few items on the home inspection report that we thought needed repair. After evaluation and discussion with us, it was determined the work didnt need to be done. Such integrity and honesty! A rare find these days! :)

We had Joe fix a deteriorated drain pipe in the crawl space of the house we just purchased. Joe was running a few minutes late but called to let me know and once he arrived was in and out with the fix completed in less than 2 hours! The fix cost about 50% less than what I was expecting to pay and Joe also offered advice on how to maintain our old pipes (house was built in 1952 and the plumbing is original) until we do our kitchen remodel.

Joe's so good, he didn't need to come to the house. I made the initial call thinking I needed a plumber to either get under the house and investigate or repipe the entire home but he called me back, discussed my situation and talked me through back flushing the system. And it worked!
So, as a reviewer, I can't directly speak to his work or prices but being willing to talk it out and troubleshoot is certainly an appreciated sign of a professional. So, when i do need to call a plumber again, I won't hesitate to call Joe.

And shout out to Joe's Plumbing Co (Aeros in Ballard?) for recommending Joe the Plumber in the first place.

Joe the Plumber is my hero today. I called him about a leaking bathtub faucet that I'd tried (and repeatedly failed) to fix. After a brief description of the problem and my bumbling attempts to repair it, he asked me to send him a photo of the broken stem valve. I did so...and he immediately called me back, explained what was broken and how to fix it. Myself. For less than $2.

So. Thank you, Joe, for being helpful, encouraging and kind! When the inevitable happens and I find myself in need of plumbing help, Joe will definitely be the first person that I call (and the first person I will recommend to my friends, as well).

We discovered we had a leaking pipe in the basement. After calling South West plumbing and getting a $6,700 quote I called Joe The Plumber. He was professional and courteous from the moment he stepped inside. He took one look at the pipe and said it wouldn't take long to fix. I asked him about the other items on South West's plumbing 'must fix now' list and he told me one was completely unnecessary while the other should be fixed eventually but wasn't an emergency and would only cost about $500. So why the $6,700 quote!?

Joe was in and out in an hour and it only cost me $200. I'll definitely be calling up Joe the next time we have a plumbing need!

10 minutes after leaving a message on their website, I received a call back from Joe. He gave me suggestions over the phone on how to fix my clogged bathroom sink, and what part my kitchen sink pipes might be missing if not gripping well. He gave me all this free valuable information with no charge just saying if all that does not work then he can stop by. This experience makes me have no question who I will call next time I have plumbing issues!

Well I can't comment on any actual work dome by Joe the Plumber. That would involved the business actually calling me back after leaving a message with them. It been over a week and not a peep.
