We discovered what seemed to be a leak in our shower wall. We called Streckfuss and they sent out a ""technician"" to evaluate the issue. He arrived as expected and checked our shower and ran the shower to determine if there was indeed a leak. He didn't find one readily and indicated that it was probably in the wall and we would have to do a complete tear down and replacement. Remember, he didn't discover a leak he just said that we needed a teardown. He then stepped outside and called ""the office"" and returned with a quote. His expert evaluation and discussion with the home office indicated that it would cost somewhere between $5,000 - $7,000 to teardown the shower, find the leak, repair the leak, and install a new shower. We were shocked and told the technician we would get back to him. We chose to call our Homeowner's Insurance for advice. They suggested calling a second plumber and submit a claim if there was and issue. We called a second plumber who came by and checked the situation and determined that ""nothing"" seemed to be wrong. We explained to him that Streckfuss said it would require a teardown to find the problem. The second plumber was skeptical and said give it a couple of days and let them know if it happens again and they'll come back to check. The issue did not return and has not returned in three years. Our shower is fine. Our insurance company thanked us for getting a second opinion. After reading other reviews Streckfuss seems to take this route with many of its customers. Sad to think this is a standard operating procedure.

Absolute joke
Scam artist . They will only do the bare minimum warranty and will try their hardest to have it not covered so they can charge more . Not one plumber among them .

Very fast service. Job was completed as promised. Wish I would have known there was a 2 hour minimum charge beforehand. Could only get a receipt Thru email and my technicians phone wasn't working that day.

Our home warranty company sent Joe Streckfuss Plumbing to my home based upon a service request submitted for water damage in the water closet. The technician seemed to be very arrogant and claiming that as an ""expert"" he knew exactly what the issue was after only a few minutes. Rather than ruling all out potential contributing factors, he immediately presumed the issue was with a shower drain. My wife and I disagreed with his assessment as the shower has a sloped concrete slab and design forcing water into the drain. His rationale presumed that water would actually be working uphill and leaking outside the shower pan which is impossible. Being skeptical and not feeling great about the service call, we contacted another plumber within an hour of him leaving our home and outside of our Home Warranty. After careful consideration and actually looking at the entire area it was determined by the new plumber that the toilet in fact was the culprit.

To make things even worse, during the initial consult from Joe Steckfuss Plumbing they inferred that in order to truly remedy the situation I would need to completely rip out my custom shower and enclosure offering me a free estimate. Rather than pursue this route and drag in not only my Home Warranty company further or my Homeowner's Insurance, I decided to fix the issue with the 2nd plumber.

In summary, be very leary about using this company as not only were they trying to push a new shower remodel through insurance that clearly didnt need it but moreover if they had spent the time to fully assess the issue they would have ruled out the toilet as a potential culprit. So much for the arrogant expert they sent over who claimed to have my best interest and that of my home in mind.

We had a problem with out tankless hot water system. Suddenly cold water coming out of the faucet while I'm trying to wash my hair. To the point where I am ready to give up on showering altogether. Called Joe, he came very quickly and said that the thing should have been serviced regularly. Didn't know that so, my mistake. He rinsed the thing for a long time, all sorts of deposits came out. Very reasonable rate, $80.00 if I remember well. They do live close to where I am so I guess it was a short ride. That didn't fix it though, called him again and he did the same thing. No extra charge. Still a lot of deposits coming out of there. He recommended lowering the heat setting a bit, which we did. Problem not solved, because of the fact that we didn't service enough, the thing was practically completely calcified. So we got a new water heater, he installed it, looks great, works great, I'm washing my (very long) hair again without worries. Oh, yes, and by the way, he repaired our sink in the garage, no extra charge, it was such a minor thing. And he gave husband a hand with the dishwasher that had a broken piece for which we had ordered a replacement. But it needed some trick that we didn't know. No extra charge. Thank you Joe and Rebecca, great work. Don't hope to see you soon, at least not for a plumbing problem, but we know you'll be there for us when we need you.

We called to set up installation of a gas line based on a quote we were told that price would vary only on permit. Appointment was set for Friday 13 Dec and a worker arrived on the 9th of December to run a new quote due to their error which doubled the price from $800-1100 to a new price of $2200. Weren't even willing to negotiate on their error.

Kudos to Joe Strectfuss Plumbing, LLC as we just had the recommended Green Fusion Water Softener System & Ultima 5 Stage Reverse Osmosis System installed in the garage and under the kitchen sink.
Jay the installer was easy to work with and did a great job on the installation and instructing us on how to operate and maintain the units. We got the double stack water softener unit as it takes up less space in the garage. Jay also installed the required water softener loop in the garage, as our house didn't come with one. In addition we had the refrigerator plumbed to the reverse osmosis system.
No more hard water! We couldn't be more pleased! Thanks Joe & Jay

Our home warranty company sent Joe Streckfuss Plumbing to our house because we were getting hot water in every faucet despite attempting to adjust the temperature. The guy who showed up seemed half asleep and very uninterested. He diagnosed our problem as ""summer in Phoenix"". When we called our home warranty company again because the problem was not fixed, they checked with Joe Streckfuss Plumbing, but they refused to come back saying there is nothing they can do in the summer in Phoenix. So, fortunately, we were given a second opinion and with one look at our water heater, Big G plumbing diagnosed and fixed the problem (which was a defunct mix-it valve).

Edit to add: Joe Streckfuss Plumbing's response to my review is not accurate. Our hot water heater was definitely NOT turned way up and they were not called out because our water was too hot it was because we were getting hot water even in cold lines. I called to ask our home warranty company to send Joe Streckfuss plumbing back to our house and we were told by our home warranty company that they refused saying there is nothing more they can do so our home warranty company offered us a second opinion.

I had hired them to do a simple job that should've cost less than $200, and after their Plumber came on site the job increased to over $1,000. This was due to their plumber creating a larger problem. I hired another plumber and they said that they never saw anything like this from a professional plumber! Plus, their quote could change based on if they messed anything else up. This company also required half down before they would start the job, and wanted me to bring it to their office. Even though I was willing to pay in full when they arrive to do the job. Just an overall bad experience and couldn't believe the level of customer service or lack thereof!
