Company Overview

We handle all plumbing tasks inside your house. We work on well systems as well. We provide hot water solutions, steam heat, and backflow testing services.

In 1955, Joe Schmitt founded Joe Schmitt Plumbing. Joe and Dottie ran the company out of their house for several years. In 2004, we acquired our current location at 500 Alta. Currently, we have four dedicated employees and two service vehicles.

Currently, Ron is the president of Joe Schmitt & Sons Plumbing. Ron is licensed as a plumbing contractor in Ohio. He is licensed in plumbing, hydronics, HVAC, and electrical work. Ron is also a certified plumbing inspector and backflow tester in the state. Ron is actively involved with the Ohio Plumbing Heating Cooling Contractors Board as a past president. He also contributes to the national PHCC as a zone director.
