After meeting with a few other plumbers and handymen, I am SOOO SOOO happy I found Joe! We recently bought our place and needed to replace a pedestal sink with a vanity sink, an old toilet and a shower head. Joe responds quickly, is very thorough in his assessment of the job and was always on time to appointments. He even gave us recommendations that were less costly and showed us how to prepare for the installation. He will be my go-to for anything plumbing related moving forward! I couldn't recommend him enough!

(UPDATED Jan 09, 2023) Joe Peters replaced the pipes below my kitchen sink including the P Trap in 2020. Less than 2 years later, those pipes began to leak at their connections, causing water damage to the wooden cabinets below and causing extensive mold to form. Yelp is a place for people to post their honest experiences. This is mine. Unfortunately, Joe Peters is so fixated on my one-star review that he has now ""followed"" me from his personal ""Joe P"" yelp account, and he has left a reply to my review, simultaneously denying knowing me while stating it's not fair to hold him accountable for repairs done 2 years ago. Agree to disagree. If I were looking to hire a plumber, I'd want to know that new pipes installed by that person would last more than 2 years. Mine didn't, so I'm letting other yelp users know so that they can make their own informed decisions. I'm not telling anyone what to do or who to hire, I'm simply providing my own personal experience. As for Joe Peters ""not knowing"" me, I have a canceled check and invoice that says otherwise. The reason I didn't contact Joe to fix the damage caused by his plumbing work is that I personally don't have faith in the quality of his work and it was less stressful for me to hire someone new than to have Joe fix it and then spend the next 2 years wondering if it was going to fail again. I chose to start over with a new company, that was what was best for me and I have no regrets. My experience with Joe Peters may not be yours, and I hope that it isn't. Based on his reviews he has a lot of satisfied customers. I'm just not one of them.
(UPDATED July 25, 2022) Joe Peters replaced my kitchen faucet and the pipes below my kitchen sink including the P Trap in 2020. Earlier this month I thought I smelled mold in my kitchen and went looking for the source of the odor. When I opened up the cabinet doors under my kitchen sink I discovered everything was soaking wet and water was everywhere and the paper towels lining the cabinet under the sink were damp and covered in black mold. After cleaning everything up we discovered the leak was coming from the P Trap that Joe Peters installed, right at the place it connects to the adjacent pipe (which he also installed). All of the work Joe Peters did in 2020 had to be redone, including the faucet which apparently was not installed correctly. In addition to having to pay to have Joe's work redone after only 2 years, now I have to pay someone to repair the extensive water damage to my kitchen cabinet.

Update:While here he noticed and issue with our toilet and came back today to replace it. When I went to pay him he said the repair was $15 less than he quoted me because we had good bolts. Very honest and appreciated

Needed spigots connecting to the washing machine replaced on an urgent basis and after trying to set up an appointment with few plumbers on an urgent basis and unable to get one talked to Joe. Joe responded promptly and was able to come the same day. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and did the job efficiently and at a very reasonable cost. I will use Joe for all my plumbing work. I highly recommend him. Thanks Joe

Joe (and his very able assistant) installed a water heater last night. Let me just say that Joe is simply the best . . . in all aspects.

He is very conscientious (arrived on the dot), finished the job quicker than expected and then followed through the next day to make sure all was running properly. His price was more than fair.

Its so nice that if you live in the Conejo Valley area that you have someone close by that you can depend on. I originally scheduled Rotorooter and after looking at their ratings, I changed to Joe (first time he was here). Turns out it was a great decision.

A big box store came to deliver/install a new dishwasher, and say they couldn't install it because of a stuck water valve under the sink. Ended up finding Joe on here to replace that valve. Joe was friendly, straight-forward about the price (which was fair), quick, professional -- all around very satisfied. Will be sure to call him for any other plumbing needs.

I called Joe to come diagnose a problem we had with a bathroom shower. He came when he said he would, diagnosed and fixed the problem, and charged what he said he would. Very communicative and gave us lots of good info and advice. Highly recommended!

I got a referral from a handyman to call Joe as I was facing a situation of no hot water with a paying guest having just arrived. Joe arrived quickly and fixed the problem at a fair price, actually saving me at least a thousand for a new water heater. Thanks Joe for coming out so quickly and returning things to normal. We woke up to banging pipes, spurting faucets and no hot water - thought it was a broken water heater. Found Joe Peters Plumbing on Yelp, and called. Joe picked up and helped me diagnose the issue over the phone - run the faucets and talk to the neighbors. Turned out that there was an overnight water outage in the community, and everything was fine with our plumbing. Joe is the best!
