Yesterday, a plumber came out to give me a quote for a hot water recirculator. The quote was insanely high. He also quoted me for a new tankless water heater, which I didn't need. That quote too was insanely high.
When I came home, I had no hot water. I called that company nine times without a call back.

Today (Saturday), I called several companies to see if they could come out to troubleshoot the hot water issue. None were available.

Then I called Joe. I sent him pix of the water heater. The plumber from yesterday had turned the hot water valve off. Joe walked me through how to turn the valve back on and...voila! Success.

Joe will be coming out next week to install a new hot water recirculator at a much more reasonable price than what I had been quoted.

After meeting with a few other plumbers and handymen, I am SOOO SOOO happy I found Joe! We recently bought our place and needed to replace a pedestal sink with a vanity sink, an old toilet and a shower head. Joe responds quickly, is very thorough in his assessment of the job and was always on time to appointments. He even gave us recommendations that were less costly and showed us how to prepare for the installation. He will be my go-to for anything plumbing related moving forward! I couldn't recommend him enough!

(UPDATED Jan 09, 2023) Joe Peters replaced the pipes below my kitchen sink including the P Trap in 2020. Less than 2 years later, those pipes began to leak at their connections, causing water damage to the wooden cabinets below and causing extensive mold to form. Yelp is a place for people to post their honest experiences. This is mine. Unfortunately, Joe Peters is so fixated on my one-star review that he has now ""followed"" me from his personal ""Joe P"" yelp account, and he has left a reply to my review, simultaneously denying knowing me while stating it's not fair to hold him accountable for repairs done 2 years ago. Agree to disagree. If I were looking to hire a plumber, I'd want to know that new pipes installed by that person would last more than 2 years. Mine didn't, so I'm letting other yelp users know so that they can make their own informed decisions. I'm not telling anyone what to do or who to hire, I'm simply providing my own personal experience. As for Joe Peters ""not knowing"" me, I have a canceled check and invoice that says otherwise. The reason I didn't contact Joe to fix the damage caused by his plumbing work is that I personally don't have faith in the quality of his work and it was less stressful for me to hire someone new than to have Joe fix it and then spend the next 2 years wondering if it was going to fail again. I chose to start over with a new company, that was what was best for me and I have no regrets. My experience with Joe Peters may not be yours, and I hope that it isn't. Based on his reviews he has a lot of satisfied customers. I'm just not one of them.
(UPDATED July 25, 2022) Joe Peters replaced my kitchen faucet and the pipes below my kitchen sink including the P Trap in 2020. Earlier this month I thought I smelled mold in my kitchen and went looking for the source of the odor. When I opened up the cabinet doors under my kitchen sink I discovered everything was soaking wet and water was everywhere and the paper towels lining the cabinet under the sink were damp and covered in black mold. After cleaning everything up we discovered the leak was coming from the P Trap that Joe Peters installed, right at the place it connects to the adjacent pipe (which he also installed). All of the work Joe Peters did in 2020 had to be redone, including the faucet which apparently was not installed correctly. In addition to having to pay to have Joe's work redone after only 2 years, now I have to pay someone to repair the extensive water damage to my kitchen cabinet.
