I try to treat everyone with dignity and respect. Regardless of their station in life, their religion, or ethnicity. I've lived on the North Shore for over 40 years and I'm also a veteran that served in combat. I honestly have never taken a dime from anyone but have given most of my life to helping anyone in need. Regarding Joe Pat's Plumbing. For 5 days since my 70th B-Day we've had no hot water. The same day I called Joe Pat my wife of 45+ years was in a serious roll over accident and not having hot water was a moot point because she's in the hospital. Joe Pat came out with his helper and fiddled around the water heater for 30 minutes and and walked out and asked me for cash. I was told what he 'thought' was wrong and how busy he is. I knew when he asked for cash I'd never see him again. He then texted me he's to busy and find another plumber. I asked him for a referral and he texted me back to look in the yellow pages.

I've lived a life by 'Love thy neighbor as thyself' and I've never said no to helping anyone ever. I'm very disappointed and at this point I don't think there's any good will and decency here. I'm tired of this, because I'm not a charity case and I'm not looking for anything and willing to always pay for what goods or services I receive. Joe Pat is not a person who cares about his fellow man or a person who risked his life in service of his country. I believe in Christian values and live by them! I would avoid hiring him! Even if it's just on the principal he'd treat someone decent as I hope am without the smallest shred of humanity.
