Joe is extremely knowledgeable and has stood behind his work. He replaced tub and shower combo faucets, Roman tub with no access and all the shower fixtures. Jesse has also done work at our home and he is also knowledgeable. And they didn't leave a mess when they were finished. I highly recommend Joe Mumford Plumbing!!

Avoid Joe's Plumbing. I hate to write this, but Joe didn't even feel the need to respond to my multiple attempts at questions about billing.

Background:
I had two and a half bathroom faucets to uninstall (one of three was almost uninstalled) and three faucets to install (previously purchased).

I asked for a quote, he didn't give one and rather said it was $135 an hour and could ask the plumber to leave whenever to mitigate costs.

Well, for 3.5 hours of work, technically less when supported by Ring security camera's arrival and departure time stamps, we got charged $580. No breakdown of costs or time. I followed up via phone and then email twice just trying to get an explanation. Joe never felt the need to explain.

To make things worse, the plumber left before installing the last faucet (as requested because we were going on the $135 an hour price).

Well, it seems we should have just had the plumber install the last faucet because we were getting dusted either way. Further, it was clear the plumber didn't clean the pipes in one of the bathrooms (I know this because I cleaned the pipes for the sink they didn't install and the gunk was ample; and the other bathroom sinks are taking awhile to drain).

The plumber did do a good job with the two installs (out of the three) and was a nice guy. But, I feel left cheated with no response from Joe. Joe, do better. Respond to your customers. I even sent you the screenshots of the arrival and leaving time. You decided a customer didn't even deserve an explanation. That's not good business, Joe.

Other customers can make their own decisions. But, at least they will have an honest review of your practices before they do.

Charged me $400 to remove and replace insinkerator with way inferior model!! Took most of a day too. Had to cancel an appt it took so dang long. One guy showed up then left. For hours. Texted to see what was hapoening, then Joe finally showed up and did it.
Way too much $ for inferior product and very lil time. Big rip imo Ill never call him again. Get estimate in writing. And he claims ""world class"" service. No no no it isnt..... dissapointing

Joe is our family's go-to plumber, he and his guys always do a great job. His response is excellent, pricing is fair and his professionalism and quality of work are above reproach. If you want the job done right the first time, call Joe.

He just left our house after diagnosing a faulty switch between our water storage tank and the house. In and out in an hour after making time to see us immediately after I called and sent a video to his phone documenting the problem with water pressure.

Joe himself has around 50 years of experience in this field. His past apprentices in and around Auburn now with their own businesses have reaped the reward of the knowledge imparted unto them by this man.

March 2017: We had Joe install a new water softener system in March of this year. He was quick to respond and come out to give a bid and install the new system. We are happy with the new system.

September 2017: Our system plumbing line came apart springing a huge water leak. We contacted Joe and he replied that he was out of town and that we would need to contact another plumber to repair. We did so and the repair was made due to Pvc pipe was glued to a copper connection and it failed. The bill was $225.00!

Now when we try to reach Joe, no response! We feel This should be under warranty and have requested refund. Will post update when we get the check!
