Hello, our company originated back in 1964 by Joe Franklin himself. I’m Joe's second son, Gregory Franklin, and I made the choice to bring the company back to return to the fundamental goal of helping people with their projects as well sustaining the business as we go.
We transitioned to me by the late Joseph Franklin more than 25 years ago. We have proudly served the DMV area for over 50 years. Joe Franklin Plumbing was the first minority Master Plumber in PG County since the 1960s era.

There was a gas leak in my basement so Washington Gas shut it off and basically said ""good luck"" on a Saturday. It wasn't easy to find someone (hence my cheating on Yelp to use Thumbtack). They were over in a few hours and spend 2.5 hours testing and plugging the leaks. It was very reasonably priced and I learned a lot about the guts of my old home in the process. Gregory told me he learned plumbing from his dad who started the business in 1962.
