Daniel was very helpful in finding, replacing, and getting me a good deal on a new faucet which I had to replace in a rental property. He had to deal with the tenants and me which we were slow so I was grateful for his patience. Thanks goodness he was because we got the job done!

They quoted me 965 dollars to clean my ac. I said it was too much. They then quoted me 450 to clean my ac, I laughed. They charged me a 90 dollar trip charge to come out and hand me this joke. Ac cleaning is about 75 to 250 dollars. They were very professional and nice as they took me for 90 dollars instead of the 40 dollar trip charge. I called their manager and he politely called me back. He said I misunderstood the ad. I PAID the 90 bucks and in so spent 50 extra dollars but learned a lesson - dont call JOE COOL UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET ROBBED. Honestly the tech quoted me 975 plus trip fee then when I declined - 30 seconds later quoted me 450 for the same one hour job. The balls that had to take, tips hat. 900 dollars an hour, lol that's one for the books.

Dale was a great technician and very thorough. However when it came to management, they were extremely unreliable. They told me they would replace my tank water heater the next day. No call no show. When I finally got someone on the phone they said they couldn't find inventory (?) but would be there the next day. No call no show again, but this time did not call me back after the I contacted the paging service. If it wasn't for the technician this would have one star, beware.

Joe Cool's representative , Jarrett and Antonio, were very professional and cordial. Jarrett's approach was honest and he limited his comments to subjects he felt knowledgeable about. This is key when interacting with a service representative, therefore thank you Joe Cool.

Since the 8th of March, my renters  been battling this Florida heat. Last year, on July 13, my renters reached out to Joe Cool Home Services and got a quote along with a few others. Unfortunately, I wasn't at the home during that time to deal with all the quotes we received along with Joe Cool. My husband is active duty Navy Navy and since he's stationed in California, we've made the decision to move to California while the home in Florida is rented out. In March of this year, as I stated above, the AC we got from Joe Cool has been acting a bit strange. We know it's under warranty so we called o have them take a look at it. That AC unit costed us over $10625 this past July.  When we had it install last year, my husband was on deployment and I figured whatever unit we can get at the moment will be better than nothing. Well, the technician came out to repair the AC unit we just got from them; not even a year ago. After the technician left, the AC worked but for a moment then for 2 days later it stopped. I called them myself and expressed my concerns because my 10 months old niece is in the house and it was urgent that the AC is fixed asap; not partially but completely. To no avail! And since the saga begun with the malfunctioned AC, the manager, Mike, went to the house to see why the AC wasn't fixed yet by his technician. Then he kept making excuses without a care in the world of knowing the unbearable heat that the house consumed. He sent a team at the house with a window unit the week. At first, he said a mother board was blown out, so they ordered a replacement. The replacement didn't arrived until another week later. Then after installing the new motherboard they ordered; the AC unit still didn't work. Then the technicians told us we need a surge protector because of a power outage that happened the previous weekend. I specifically told the manager Mike I will not be replacing anything until they can reassure me the AC unit work was working . They replaced the surge protector and still the AC wasn't working. I told Mike that they were trying to fix a broken AC unit by process of elimination which made no sense because if I hired you to be the expert so I expect you to be one. My mother going through menopause and my 10 months old niece are in this heated house with no help in sight. From my multiple conversations with the manager, it seems as if he doesn't care. Case in point, I specifically told them if the surge protector doesn't fix the AC, then I want a new AC unit and he said it doesn't work that way for a unit that's under one year old. Now the they replaced the surge protector and the AC unit is still not working. Now imagine three of Joe technicians at my house, one would assume at least one of these technicians knew what they were doing. Furthermore, I was told they need to replace a circuit breaker this time. I laughed to myself because I came to realize that not any of them knew why the unit wasn't working?  A side note: I called the office multiple times; left messages for the manager to call me back to discuss further and to get my AC replaced. He kept ignoring my phone calls. He would call much later when he knew I wouldn't be around to answer. Since our very last conversation, he has not spoken to me. My brother was told this past Monday, March 26 that they would install a new unit. Lo and behold! My brother got a call saying the manufacturer is refusing to replace the unit and they have to attempt to replace the condenser now. I did tell Mike that the AC unit they installed was a """"lemon"""". He refused to believe but here we are the 20 days later, the AC unit is still not working. And the house is beyond hot and unlivable. So please help me! They placed two temporary window units plus my my brother purchased another temporary window unit to try to live in the house with his wife, his daughter and his mom. I can only imagine how much the electricity bill is going to be next month. I really don't know how Joe cool prioritizes their customers because obviously my case is not that serious for them to expedite the installment of a new AC unit Please help! I'm counting on you to pass this message around and prevent customers from getting into business with contractors like Joe Cool, which services the Tampa bay and Pinelas areas. Thank you!

I have had many issues due to power outage, lightning Freon leaks and thermostat issue within 3 years of install. However I would call them every time there were problems and they came out within 24 hrs for the most part. I know they have had to replace some workers but in spite of this they tried their best to make it right. I believe that that is most important and would recommend this service.

Was sold AAC unit with what I thought was a 10 year warranty come to find out it wasn't what I was sold when it came to services They told me they did not have a schedule that they would call me when they were on their way 1st day they called me and told me they couldn't make it due to weather which I understood The next time they reached out to me they told me that they could be there that day my wife took off work to be there they never showed up and then they called me at 7 o'clock in the morning the next day to tell me that they were on their way now. I have a business to run and refuse to lose any further money waiting on these people. I was sold free services upkeeps and everything which I don't even want them on my property anymore I would not recommend these people to anybody They have no consideration for other people or their businesses and on top of that matter they're home

Never use this company! My fan wasn't turning so the ac wouldn't work. The guy came out and said it needed a new capacitor and hard start. The quote was $866.He put in the new parts and it still didn't work. He then said the fan motor was burnt out and it was going to be $1000 more. The part was only 3 years old and should have been under warranty. He said it was but it was still going to be $300-$400 for the part and the rest was labor. I reluctantly agreed and he replaced the fan and it still didn't work! He then said I needed a new """"board"""" because it was burnt out. He would get the new board the next day and was going to """"TRY"""" not to charge me anymore. I had enough and called another company who fixed the problem for $368. I told Joe Cool to take the new parts off and put my old ones back on. When the guy came back he was rather nasty and said """"As soon as I put your old parts back on it is not going to work"""" Well guess what....it worked fine. Just another note...I watched him take the new fan off and put the old one back on. It literally took him five minutes. He was going to charge me between $600-$700 for labor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These people do everything they can to avoid telling you what you will pay for their services. I had them replace my AC unit and all ductwork. One side of my building gets more than enough air flow while the other side (bedrooms) get extremely low flow. That has to be quite wasteful at night. They sent a tech that knew very little about the system and now hang up on me when I request to speak to a manager. Don't expect professional care from Joe Cool.

Customer service and serviceman were very polite. My problem was with the toilet running & they said they had a $59.00 special. When the serviceman arrived, he said this visit included a full inspection which I didn't need or want & it was very time consuming. He proceeded to take pictures & then left for about 20 minutes. He came back with a list of things to do ranging from $3755.00 to $571.24. I moved into this condo 7yrs. ago & had the bathroom & kitchen plumbing completely redone. I live alone & am not here full time. I told him just fix the toilet, he said that would be $571.24 which would be for replacing the fill valve & flapper replacement. When I protested the price, he made a telephone call & came up with $359. So, what does that tell you, if you don't question the cost they will overcharge you, which I feel they already did. The work itself took 10 minutes and trying to convince me of absurd needless repairs took over an hour. Sorry Joe Cool in my book you are not cool.
