I was hesitant to call Joe Cool after seeing some scary reviews on here, but I did so because they were the guys who apparently installed my two units for the previous home owner. They got Daniel out to us right away and he was professional, happy, transparent and extremely good at his job. He went above and beyond and went out of his way to minimize the impact to my wallet. I will continue to use them, and I'll ask for Daniel every time.

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Everything you read in the reviews is right on. They are just a collection of bad people doing bad business. Not dependable, not honest at all, and no integrity. We had to learn the hard way. We wish we would have read the yelp reviews on them and listened to all the warnings.

Thanks to joe cool for coming and checking on my ac unit. They said there would be a $75 diagnostic charge but after evaluating my problem, they did not charge me even though they did not do any repair service. Treated me right.

Having difficulty picking an ac service and installer. My best friend and wife to be Amanda selected these folks who by the way have an A+ rating with BBB. Very nice representative from the compny came out to inspect and got us up and running for almost a month. Unfortunately we were facing the inevitable and had to purchase a new unit. Tom who I believe my be the owner of the company went out of his way in getting us financed. I'm happy to say that the new Carrier system is now cooling the home wonderfully thanks to the two awesome installers that spent most of the day busting butt. Would highly recommend these people great job great price. Thanks everyone, Matthew Insalaco

The service men sent out are great and knowledgeable but the company tends to make promises that end up costing the customer. They are the third company I have worked with in the St Pete area and each time I am charged for something different when they come out to inspect their unit. They seem to have a big change over in managers which does not lend itself to a feeling of confidence in the company. .

Found these guys on Groupon..tried them and unfortunately paid what I felt was way too much. Not going to recommend at all. Here's my story...called them, setup appt, and excepted them around 2-4 p.m. on Sat. Leave to go shopping with the family and get a call from technician who says he finished his calls earlier and was at my house. Told him that he can go ahead and """"do the inspection"""". I come home and states that he went ahead and changed the capacitor. So naturally I was grateful, but he said it was 330 for the entire deal, that was with a discount. I was taken aback and just wanted him to go... I didn't say anything because I understand people have to make money. The tech was there all but 30 to 45 mins total. Costs: 330 70 visit 26 capacitor (at most) 234 LABOR!! Bear in mind that my condenser was outside and easy to reach. I called them later to question but I doubt I'll get any type of reimbursement. Just lesson learned...should have read reviews on here and Google. Please spread the word

I had these guys for my home warranty, every time they came out to fix my AC they would put freon in it and never tell me it had a leak. Once I cancelled my home warranty, they came out and told me I had a leak and my whole outdoor unit needed to be replaced. So I did it. About a year in, the new unit they sold me wasn't blowing cold air anymore. They came out and told me I had a rusted part in my freon line, quality unit they sold me. They charged me for it, which I didn't think was fair but the best part was I went out to check on the guy doing service and he's sitting in my backyard playing video games on his phone. He jumped when I walked up. A year later the fan rusted out on the unit, this time I replaced it myself. I am sure they would of totally ripped me off on that. I definitely get the vibe of a dishonest company here, I would look in to other options. For AC companies I believe if you see reviews where people are reporting dishonesty, despite if there are good reviews listed, this is a dishonest company. I think they have a good way of swindling people to believe they are actually getting good service. Stay away people, don't matter how good the deal looks.

Scooter came out to my home last week for a service call. He replaced a run cap which I was charged $275 and $375 for a condenser fan motor. He basically tried to pressure me into getting a new ac unit and gave me details about a payment plan. He didn't invite me outside to show me what he had fixed, nor did he check the other part of the system which was in the laundry room. Even after he had replaced a few things, my ac still wasn't cool. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They are money hungry and will cheat you for all that you have and more.

SCAM ALERT!!!.. After hearing the radio show(paid ad) I set an appointment for them to come out. I was told over and over that. I would get the same service for $29.95 as I would if I paid the regular price of $189. I was told 4 separate times that they would clean the entire system including the cooling coils inside the unit. Bryan assured me when making the appointment that I would get the same service as i would if i was paying the regular price. They just wanted referrals if they gave good service. I WILL NOT EVER refer this company to anyone except the better business bureau. Professional A/C tech named """"Scooter"""" said he would go over the system with a fine tooth comb and make sure it was sparkling when he was done. First thing he tells me is that my system is old and should be replaced. It is working just fine. Then we go inside and he starts to take the front off the inside unit. I said that the cooling coil is in the upper section of that unit and he was taking off the wrong part of the panel to clean the coils. He said that he wouldn't clean those for the measly $29.95 and would charge $249. for that. I thought I was getting the $189. service? Don't use this company. Don't use this company. Don't use this company.
