Not a reputable company. Just trying to sell you a new unit using high pressure sales tactics. Go with someone else

Beware of using Joe Cool. I called this company to fix a leak in a pipe but Pat's service guy said I needed a new AC unit. I called Tank Air and they replaced the pipe and fixed the leak. My air has worked great ever since. I read other reviews regarding the new ac units and Joe Cool doesn't care about their customers only making more problems for their customers and leaving them with issues to find other companies willing to fix their mistakes. Pat cussed me and my husband out when we asked for a refund of a sensor that tank air proved was still good because the service guy threw it in our trash and Tank air tested it and proved it worked better than the one that they put on. Never use Joe Cool.

Having difficulty picking an ac service and installer. My best friend and wife to be Amanda selected these folks who by the way have an A+ rating with BBB. Very nice representative from the compny came out to inspect and got us up and running for almost a month. Unfortunately we were facing the inevitable and had to purchase a new unit. Tom who I believe my be the owner of the company went out of his way in getting us financed. I'm happy to say that the new Carrier system is now cooling the home wonderfully thanks to the two awesome installers that spent most of the day busting butt. Would highly recommend these people great job great price. Thanks everyone, Matthew Insalaco

We called at 4:00 for an appointment, our A/C stopped working. They had someone out an hour later and got it up and running. So grateful as it was a 90 degree day. Our tech was super friendly and explained everything

If I could give this company less than one star (or negative 5 stars) I would. Joe Cool called me for my $39.00 spring service (they do the spring and fall maintenance) and I scheduled the appt. My unit was working fine prior to them coming out to service it. The tech tried high pressure tactics to sell me a new unit when he arrived for the service, and I refused. A few days after the spring maintenance service, the house started getting warm and wasn't cooling properly, and a few days thereafter the unit froze up in the attic and the water from the thawing unit caused a ton of damage to my son's bedroom below. I called a different company to fix the issue (because I have a home warranty plan and used their a/c service contractor for the repair) and the tech said the unit froze because the valves were left loose when the recent maintenance was performed by Joe Cool which caused the R410 to leak out and the unit to freeze. The company that fixed the frozen unit and added R140 and noted on their invoice that the issue was caused by the loose valve caps. I provided copies of the invoice to Joe Cool, along with photo of the highly damaged bedroom ceiling (located below the a/c unit in the attic) the damaged walls, and the damaged mattress, and they have refused to pay anything. Worst company ever, and I am highly suspicious they intentionally caused the R140 to leak out to make me think my unit was broken and sell me a new unit. I am a single mother, and this company took advantage of me and cannot be trusted.

I have been with Joe Cool for many years. They always provide honest and excellent services.

Think twice before calling them. Called for service, since water was leaking down thru bathroom vent. Guy came out, didn't go in attic where it was leaking. Came down said I needed all new vent repair plus insulation. I told him I needed the leak fixed asap, as I was having company, and also didn't want damage done to my recently installed floor. He said only way to fix problem was to have work done he mentioned. Do to so hot weather, I would be cyber more since most attic work is done in cooler weather. I had no choice, workers came out, redid everything at a cost of over $9k. Very nice workers told me, they stopped the leak by removing so much insulation around vent, due to conditioner running so much this summer. If the first guy, would have seen this, I could have saved thousands. Also, didn't need extra insulation, which co. agreed and took off bill. Just took me, knowing I am a senior citizen. JUST BEWARE, MY PROBLEM COULD HAVE BEEN RESOLVED THAT DAY, WITH MINIMUM COST.

Incompetency at its finest! Avoid Joe Cool at all costs! I tried for 5 weeks to schedule a service with them, spoke to them multiple times a week (to the same two ladies) and finally just gave up. They were affiliated with my home warranty company which should have been the first red flag. Every time I called they had """"lost the record of my previous phone call"""" and """"had meant to get back to me but somehow somebody had forgotten."""" I am on a very limited budget and opted to pay out of pocket for another company. The other company was at my house the next day and the representatives on the phone were pleasant, non-forgetful, and a delight after dealing with the Joe Cool folks.

We had two brand new systems installed in 2014, multiple, multiple issues with many service calls to fix problems over the past 4 years and just Thursday we needed to have 1 unit seen and i received a call from a stranger 2 hours before my appointment time on the following friday informing me no-one would be coming because they will no longer be servicing my area. I took half the day off work and had a complete stranger over. A 2 minute conversation told me after all the headaches i was on my own; thanks, no warning no notice, just screwed me with a system that constantly has issues. there was another alarming issue with them but will not go into that. I found another company to come to my home last minute to address the current issue and all they could do is shake their head and tell me my new system (2014) was installed all wrong and now will have to come out of pocket to fix the long standing issues, RUN from this company people!
