It started with a clogged shower and with slow sad realization as the tub and toilet also ceased functioning I realized that I had a main line clog. I dreaded calling the home warranty because I didn't want to wait days for a fix but I called anyway and was assigned JO plumbing. I was eagerly awaiting the half-hour mark to call as most of these guys take a day or so just to set an appointment. JO called me before I called them! He said he could be over in 30 minutes but immediately called back to adjust the time (60 minutes how professional to keep me informed) He arrived ahead of schedule was polite, professional and efficient! He fixed the issue showed me the cause (roots) and suggested some more permanent solutions (no pressure just gave his assessment and his card). JO plumbing is definitely in my Rolodex moving forward. It is rare to find a competent and honest service today. They were excellent!!!

Our kitchen faucet broke, so we contacted warranty company and they sent J.O. Nice enough guy, but he mentioned that a metal piece had been broken and that could have been ""wear and tear caused by operator"". He mentioned that he could order the part and fix it outside of warranty company, which is clearly where he was angling. We decided to see if warranty company would cover. We waited five days, nothing from either plumber or warranty company. Finally, we called plumber and they told us request had been denied. We then called warranty company and they knew nothing about it. No one had contacted us. Bottom line, J.O. felt it was more profitable to collect $75 than to actually help the customer. Like a lot of warranty company contractors, they go right for the bigger job outside of warranty. If you do not offer them the bigger job, they write an unfavorable report and move on. They simply washed their hands and left. Stay away from these dishonest jackasses.

I've had a mixed bag of experiences with my home warranty company but J.O Plumbing and specially Armen who came to service our issue really came through like a champ. Armen went out of his way to take care of every detail. He was kind, professional, timely and generous with giving our issues his full attention. If you work with First American Home Warranty and need plumbing I would specifically ask for J.O Plumbing and if you can get Armen even better. I would use this company again if needed, 100%. A+++
