left word on a Saturday for time sensitive Service, got someone at their call center who said they would have a technician call me right back.

Received a callback 48 hours later...
By then of course I'd already hired somebody and had the problem fixed.

It may not be important to larger companies - but if they're going to have their answering service say that someone will call back promptly - it seems they should make it their business to do so...?

JMS started out with a single project - relocating my laundry center and adding a 220 line for the new laundry- but I quickly added flushing my tankless water heater, removing my old floor furnace, trenchless repiping the sewer line in my front yard, and even painting a hallway and they did each very well. Price was fair, Joe responsive and each of his workers were competent, neat and cleaned fairly well after themselves. They do good work.

JMS is awful. They sent out a technician right away, which was helpful but that is the only positive thing that I can say about them. Once there, he immediately began up-selling me drains and major work quotes without having inspected the issue with the camera. Once he looked at the camera, he said he couldn't snake it because it would cause more damage. He took my money and left with the issue unresolved and no quote on how to fix the problem. I was contacted by the office staff and they assured me they would contact me with more information, but they never did. The day after they came to my house, we had crappy water all over our floors. Thanks, JMS.

I called another company and they were able to snake the line, like JMS should've done. And they discovered the source of the issue-which is what we hired JMS to do. The job is significant and will be completed by this other company. I'm glad JMS provided such awful service because I wouldn't have gone with this other company. Its shameful that JMS charged sooo much money (more than just the service fee) to do nothing and to quote nothing.

We chose JMS because of their great reviews here and elsewhere. We are so very disappointed by their terrible customer service and overall experience trying to fix our blocked main line. We paid nearly $700 less than two weeks ago and now have to hire another plumber to resolve our plumbing problem as JMS refuses to come out and help us resolve our problem. Beware!

JMS was recommended by another trade professional to repair the water leak inside the slab of our home which was expanding rapidly. They appreciated the seriousness of the problem and showed up immediately.
Prompt, courteous, professional. Explained the problem, described the solution, assigned a crew, completed the job, cleaned up and followed up to make sure we were satisfied.

I wish they refinished pools.

Came same day on emergency . Joe helped with my water leak. He was great but he never sent me the info I needed to do more additional work with them , and also never sent me my invoice so that has been inconvenient . Their front office girl ( Teresa?) was terrific , helpful , articulate , reassuring and soothing in a high stress situation. I would definitely recommend .

I have used JMS Express multiple times for different things; change out a kitchen faucet, rebuild a corroded s trap, and clear clogs. Each time I get reminded why I use them. Alex always checks out what is going on, gives me an assessment and options. The work always comes out top shelf. Consistency and quality are things I look for and JMS Express has always delivered!
