Came same day on emergency . Joe helped with my water leak. He was great but he never sent me the info I needed to do more additional work with them , and also never sent me my invoice so that has been inconvenient . Their front office girl ( Teresa?) was terrific , helpful , articulate , reassuring and soothing in a high stress situation. I would definitely recommend .

I have used JMS Express multiple times for different things; change out a kitchen faucet, rebuild a corroded s trap, and clear clogs. Each time I get reminded why I use them. Alex always checks out what is going on, gives me an assessment and options. The work always comes out top shelf. Consistency and quality are things I look for and JMS Express has always delivered!

I just had to have my main line replaced. I worked with Oscar who was wonderful. He explained exactly what had to be done and why also took pictures and showed me all along the the way work that was being done. Quoted me a price and did a few upgrades and did not up the price. The price that was quoted at beginning of job is the price I paid at the end of the job. The crew did a great job and the holes that had to be cemented in was done well. They cleaned up after this big job like it never happened. Oscar was a dream to work with and informed me of everything being done throughout project. This is second time I have used this company and dealt with Oscar. I would not call another company after the great price and very professional work that this company does. Our plumber was Chris and he was great. Came on time, replaced two angle stops and our faucet. Chris told us that it was a good thing that I replaced one of the angle stops because it was so corroded that he had to cut it out in order to give us new one.

It was easy to make an appointment over phone or email. And they offered an online quote if I described the problem and sent photos. Their quote was definitely reasonable compared to other plumbers I called that gave me an estimate that was at least $500 more! I knew what I needed done was a fairly simple job so I knew when I was being quoted a ridiculous price.

I am docking one star because when I initially made the appointment there was miscommunication between me, the office girl, and the technician/plumber. The technician's car had broken down and the office girl told me that they were going to be 2 hours late because they sent another technician to pick up our assigned technician. Which was ok since I had blocked out a chunk of time for plumbing work with my HOA. I told the office girl that the work needed to be completed by a certain time and asked if the technician would be able to do that. She reassured me that everything would be ok. After no one showed up after 2 hours, I called the office and they were 'surprised' that no one was already there. Asked if the plumbers were close as I still had 1 more hour left for my project to be completed. The office girl told me to hold so she could call them and they barely got on the freeway after Triple AAA just came. Needless to say I was pissed as I had to schedule this time slot with my HOA, take a day off work, and was just sitting at home for no reason. I understand things come up like a car breaking down. But the office girl (and maybe the plumbers) should have been in better communication and either told me they could make it or not.

Luckily for me, my rescheduled appointment was a breeze.

Ron from Sherlock Lead Detection referred us to Joe at JMS Express Plumbing when we needed a second opinion for my mother-in-law's main sewage line leak. As with Sherlock, there should be a SIX STAR RATING for Joe, his Technician Alex Whisler and Alex's crew who CORRECTLY diagnosed and fixed my mother-in-law's internal plumbing issue .

My husband and I stepped in to help get this problem fixed after my mother-in-law was SWINDLED by another local plumber who charged her $9,000 (half of which was asked to be paid in CASH). And then that disreputable plumber, who ended up being unlicensed, provided unnecessary services which did NOT resolve her problem. You can look forward to my review of this less than ethical company on Yelp. Let this be a lesson to 1) always check on a California contractor's license, 2) Read their Yelp reviews, and 3) NEVER pay cash. Remind your older family members that just because a contractor is ""nice and handsome"" does NOT mean he is qualified.

Back to JMS - JMS on the other hand is licensed and in good standing. They use trained technicians and advanced diagnostic equipment to diagnose plumbing issues. And, they have no hidden agenda - after their analysis, they give you a DVD or access to a YouTube video of your sewer line so you, their customer, can see what the exact issue is.

Then they provide a fair WRITTEN price estimate, accurate timeframe to start/complete the job and after it's completed - they actually honor that quote. QUELLE SURPRISE!!!! If a second or third opinion is necessary, they make it super easy for you to do that. I did, in fact, take advantage of double checking their diagnosis and our general contractor concurred, after reviewing their analysis and quote, that their diagnosis was indeed correct and the price was indeed fair.

What's more, our technician Alex Whisler (818-78100515) was amazing. He is great at working with elderly customers. He patiently made sure that my mother-in-law understood the problem, the solution and the cost. Never minding that this information needed to be repeated or redundant questions were asked. He showed up religiously to check on his crew and their progress daily in the morning and evening.

So YES without a doubt, we whole heartedly recommend JMS Express Plumbing.

Dreaded words for homeowner - Water Line Leak. Made a few calls and did some online research as to approximate excavation and repipe costs (you don't want to know). Spoke with Alex at JMS Express Plumbing. The quote was reasonable, the contract spelled out what exactly was to be done, and they could start the next day at 8am. This is a good solid company that delivers on what they promise. Chris and his team arrived on schedule, completed the job quickly and efficiently, were polite and respectful, and cleaned up when they finished. All in all a good company that does their job well. I would not hesitate to use them again.
