After working with a handful of other HVAC plumbers, I'm so relieved to have found ""my guys."" I will never call anyone else. When our 50-year old boiler finally cracked and died, JMB gave us the best price on replacement and did an excellent, clean job. When our ACs had issues, JMB came and undid another company's bad work, all at a fair price. When I have questions, JMB quickly answers me via text and sends me on my way. They are simply the best!

I wish I hadn't used them. They said the rates would be higher if I made repairs in the evenings/weekends and I couldn't take off from work, so I arranged to have them make the repairs when I wasn't home. They also put a vent inside the wall and ran a copper return line outside of a wall. I don't know a lot about plumbing, but I'm pretty sure you don't put a valve inside a wall, and it wouldn't have been hard to run the pipe inside the wall or come up with another solution. I also asked if they could straighten up a steam pipe that was askew in the entrance of my home and they took it upon themselves to completely replace it with copper, so now it doesn't match the rest of them, which are steel. When I asked to have them fix these things, they said that it was the only way to do it. I said they should have called and asked me first. They also charged me more than they quoted and they didn't call me about that either. Additionally, one of the things on the bill included replacing all of the radiator valves; however, I later realized that there's no way they were replaced because they still had dust on them, including sheetrock dust from a recent project. When I called and asked about this, I didn't get a response that made sense. I was very disappointed with this experience. The main problem I needed to get resolved was that a radiator upstairs wasn't warming a room, yet after they left, it still wasn't getting hot. They returned to check it, but it never got as hot as the other radiators. I was finally able to get someone to fix some of these mistakes, and for a lot less.

I called this company today because I am having a problem with my furnace. I spoke to the owner (Mike) on the phone to explain what was or what I think was wrong with it. I asked for a quote on the price to come look at it and he said $175.00 I said why is the service charge $175.00 when I was charged $100.00 he said when on 2013? I said no 2017 I have the recite. he said well don't know who charged you that but it is $175.00 call me if you want to but very rudely and then he hung up the phone on me hello didn't even let me finish. Won't recommend this Company to anyone because you don't treat people like that. ""Don't forget your company is running because of customers"" we are the ones who keep your company going so you need to chill out and take a chill pill because your rudeness is not acceptable at all.
Thanks for nothing asta la vista. You just lost a customer Mike.

This is by far, the worst experience I have ever had with a plumber, or perhaps any service company. First, the plumber was rude, dirty and smelled as if he was out drinking all night. If it wasn't an emergency, I never would have let him in the apartment. Even worse, the work was awful and they charged me for new parts that were clearly used parts. This was only part of the total rip-off. Within a few hours, I already had leaks again and I couldn't even get the plumber to come back the same day to fix things (again). So first, I was way overcharged by JMB, whose work was horrible. I then had to pay another company to re-do what JMB had done because JMB was not available to fix the problem they created. Really bad. Do not use.

This company is very professional. Today I had my boiler changed and Thermostat replaced. They were on time, efficient, and did as the contract stated. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

I had a real mess and heating emergency with my furnace this winter. Mike and his son Justin have been to my newly construction home to straighten out many issues left behind by my former contractor. They have been nothing but kind, professional, available and top notch. They have remedied my furnace without having to replace it. They always have terrific follow up with texts/calls with of my plumbing issues. They seem to be always available to check in on me to ensure the problems are resolved to my satisfaction. Would not have anyone else touch a pipe in my home! Thank you JMB Services for being there when a homeowner is in need!

I had them come to replace a faucet in our vintage sink. They cut the old faucet out before checking if the new one would fit. After cutting the old one out they told me that the new faucet would not fit. Now I have no sink unless I want to pay $500 to replace the old vintage sink. I also had to pay them $75 to basically break my sink. Look before you leap. In the case of JMB look elsewhere before you use them.

This review is long overdue but I can't recommend this company enough. I flushed three rings included my wedding band and engagement rings down our toilet and Michael came over in under an hour with one of his team and was kind, calming, and efficient. He knew exactly where to look for the rings and pulled them right out and handed them to me and then refused to charge me for his help as he said he was in the neighborhood already so it was no trouble. A complete gentleman and all around professional!
