Another 5 star review for JM Plumbing. We hired them for a difficult task, a shower drain broken under a concrete slab. They showed up on time (early) prepared to give a us a bid and an estimation on time. They found another issue with a line that was about to break. They showed us the evidence and gave us an additional price. We had them do the additional work because it made sense while the concrete was torn up. There was no pressure, and they would have completed the original portion with the original bid.

I can't say enough about how friendly and forthcoming they were. The work was performed at my mother's house, and we were both completely comfortable with them being there with her alone. Great people, great work.

JM Plumbing is a really nice family run business. Their cousins were doing a major renovation on my house and brought in JM Plumbing to do the HVAC and plumbing work. I was so pleased with how professional they were and the quality of their work that I subsequently had them renovate so much more:
1. Split my single zone AC into a more manageable three zone system that finally balances the temperature correctly
2. Added to split units to my basement living areas that are quiet, minimally obtrusive and have made the spaces really comfortable year round
3. Added a tankless hot water system for my upstairs bathrooms. (I've had 23 overnight Christmas guests all get a warm shower!)
4. Installed a new boiler for the whole house that is also a tankless hot water heater for the lower levels. Significant savings on my gas bills and zero problems
5. Switched all my thermostats to Ecobees and Honeywell remote controls
The owners, Jose and Nick, have incredible attention to detail, everything is neatly installed, well marked and easy to access. They are meticulous in cleaning up as they complete their work. They and all of their staff are friendly, easy to work with and I felt comfortable leaving my home to go to work while they were working. I really found JM Plumbing to be the best Plumbing/Heating contractor that I have ever worked with and can't give a stronger recommendation.

JM Plumbing & Heating was referred to us by friends of ours that had their A/C system replaced - they recommended JM for their low cost and high quality.  In May 2019 we contracted with JM to replace our own A/C system. The work involved replacing all the equipment, changing the location of the inside unit from the middle of the attic floor to under the eves and the condenser from one side of the house to the other, plumbing and installing a whole-house humidifier, and running new duct work through the ceilings. The total job cost $16,150 and was done in two days.  We were very pleased with cost and the result - a great value!

This month as we refinished the attic around the new unit, we asked JM to come back and reroute a return duct and install a second return.  They promptly sent out two technicians who got it done in 6.5 hrs.  I have yet to see a final bill for the job, but am sure it will also represent a great value.

I highly recommend JM's HVAC work and will use them again myself.

I can not say enough positive things about J & R and specifically technician Anibal. We thought we had one issue with a leaky toilet but he took the time to investigate the entire toilet and found multiple issues. He had all of the supplies in his truck and was able to replace all necessary wax rings and pumps. He and his assistant were very clean and thorough and he explained everything he did, why the leaks were happening and showed his work. Best plumber I have ever had. Thank you so much!!!

Very disappointing costumer service for a company that has been awarded Angie's List Super Service Award for the past four years. I tried calling about 2 weeks ago to inquire about a leaky shower head. I was told by the call taker that she would check with the maintance team to see if this was something that they handled and then call me back. I was hopeful at this point that we would be able to use their company.

I didnt hear back with an answer by the end of that day or or the next so I tried calling again to check-in. They told me that they were experienceing high call volumes they apologized and said that they would put my request/question in as urgent so that someone would get back to me.

It has been another three buisiness days and I still havent heard back.... very disappointed.

I have received very slow response time with no explanation as to why. I had an ""estimate"" but never received the estimate. I called with an urgent matter and that didn't seem to matter.

Prompt and professional replacement of tankless water heater. House was immaculate after they left...cleaned up everything. Very competitive pricing. Owner was involved in the entire process. Will use them for future services.

We've used JM Plumbing for four jobs since 2011. Jobs included upgrading to a Rinnai tankless hot water heater, replacing a bad garbage disposal, adding an exhaust fan in a bathroom and very recently replacing an electric hot water heater for a relative's (lives out of state) local condo. ALL jobs were completed in a very timely manner and very reasonably priced. PLUS, the techs were super professional and courteous. Thank you.

As it happened:

I called JM Plumbing on a Friday, and reported an issue with my water heater. The owner asked me to get back to him with full details about my heater (make, model) and I said I will that evening. He said that they do their scheduling on Sunday and that he could probably come on Monday.

I emailed him that evening with what he asked for and asked when they will be able to come.

He didn't answer my question but replied two days later asking for more pictures.

I emailed him more pictures and asked when he thinks he can make it.

He didn't answer the question but replied asking for more information about the model.

I emailed him with another photo and asked when he thinks he can make it.

No answer.

I emailed him again with a link to the model in the maker's website and asked when he thinks he can make it.

No answer.

I emailed him once again asking if he knows when he thinks he can make it.

No response.

If you can't make, or don't want to make it, just say so. Why would you put me to work, make me take pictures and then completely ignore my emails? Just kindly reply that you are not interested in my business.

JM Plumbing & heating replaced my water heater and did a FANTASTIC job! Nick was quick to get his team to my condo for a site visit, and efficiently and effectively replaced my old water heater with a new one. Not a trace of water nor dirt was left behind, and it was all extremely affordable as well. Thank you, JM Plumbing & Heating, for a job well done!
