I called JL Plumbing on a Friday because my water wasn't getting hot. I was hoping I didn't need to buy a new water heater. When I spoke with him on the phone, he said he would be by my house in about an hour to check everything out. I had to run an errand, but my mother came and met him for me. She said he was extremely nice, helpful, and explained everything in detail. It ended up being a super easy fix, a sensor simply got covered in lint, so he cleaned it off and taught my mom how to light the pilot light in case it ever went out. He was in and out within 15 minutes, fixed the problem, and didn't even charge! Thank you so much, JL Plumbing!

Poor customer service. JR asked me to call him on my way home from work and that he would come next day to fix my problem. I left work a little early and called. Went straight to a full voicemail; I couldn't leave a message. Called a couple more times same thing. He finally called me back. Evidently had totally forgotten and said he had to take his kids to practice. No apology was given. When I said I thought we had an appointment, he hung up on me.

I understand people forget but to not apologize and then to hang up is very rude. If this is how he treats his customers and runs his business then I consider myself lucky that I dodged a bullet. Wish I could give no stars.

These guys get it fixed! We had a tricky kitchen drain clog and they quickly and professionally followed the process until it was identified and corrected. They arrived within the time frame stated and were professional and pleasant to work with. Have heard from other people that JL does large jobs too. Will call them again when needed.

My water heater was on its last leg (rust and leaking) so I knew it was time for a new one. I did a bit of research and called many companies (got about 7 quotes). JL Plumbing was referred to me by a close friend who recently had all of the plumbing in his new house done by them. It was about 5pm when I talked with JR. I gave him a little bit of information about my existing system and he said he could come out at noon the next day and finish the install in a little over an hour. The price was fantastic and very competitive - he beat the price of another quote I received!

The next day JR and one crew member came to my house, removed the old unit, and installed the new one in a little over an hour - exactly as discussed.

JR is courteous, professional, and does exceptional work. I highly recommend JL Plumbing and will continue to use them for any future needs.

We called JR due to a leaking toilet inlet shut off valve and a toilet that would not fill. He came the same afternoon that we called. He called before he arrived. He came to the door already carrying the tools he expected to use. It took him about 7 minutes to fix the problem. I asked him to test the shut offs for both other toilets in the house and he did. I then told him that the master toilet sounded like it was dripping under the house. He went under the house ; found the issue (which turned out to be dripping within the drain pipe itself) and explained the problem. He then gave me VERY reasonable quotes for a few upgrades that I want done at the house. When he was done I prepared to pay him and he said ""NO CHARGE. I really wasn't here very long and didn't do much at all. Just please have me come back for the other work"". I have nothing but the VERY BEST THINGS to say about JR and I will definitely hire him back for all my plumbing needs on going.

The owner of this company is a very knowledgeable plumber, and was at our home when he said he would be. He discovered the problem quickly, and said he would need to buy a part for the toilet bowl. He returned when he said he would, charged us a very fair price, and we haven't had any problems since. He also fixed our water pressure while he was there, which Lee Company said could not be fixed. I would highly recommend Mr. Lewis.
