We had recently done some DIY home repairs/improvements in the bathroom upstairs which led to some water leaking down through our ceiling leaving a damp and light brown stain. Had no idea what caused this large water leak so I got ahold of our home warranty company. They ended up sending out J&L Plumbing to check out our problem.

I believe David is who came out and he called me when he was a little closer, 30 mins away, showed up promptly and prepared. He even had booties on! This was nice because some people don't like shoes worn in their house and I found it very respectful too. David asked what and where the problem was, told him our situation, and he brought his ladder to check out our ceiling pulling the fire sprinkler cap off (this where the leak was near) to see what was causing the leak. Then we showed him our bathroom which he did a great and thorough job checking all areas that could be wet. He also ran our shower going back downstairs to see if he could catch any water leaking which he didn't.

After about 30 minutes of inspecting he figured what caused the leak and stain through the ceiling was our recent job with our caulking. How embarrassing! It was a huge relief to know we had no actual plumbing or fire suppression system issues. However, after this recent DIY job we pumped the breaks and just had my dad (who has experience) redo all our caulking! Lol.

David was extremely helpful, kind and a breeze to work with. If all of J&L's employees are like him I highly recommend getting all your plumbing work done through them! Thanks again!

I hired J&L Plumbing to remove and replace my homes old galvanized piping in the 1940s part of the home. The pricing was good and they are one of the few plumbers that will patch the drywall once the plumbing work is finished. The crew showed up ready to go the first day. They were quick with the work and went above and beyond fixing the weird plumbing routing from when the addition to the home was done. The crew was professional and explained the work they were completing. The second day was the permit inspection. The crew told me they didn't need to be here for the inspection but the inspector required someone to go under the house. J&L Plumbing rushed over to complete the inspection. Then stayed to complete the drywall patching. They did an excellent job and I would hire them again for more plumbing work.

I have a 90 year old home that had galvanized pipes running under the house in the basement. While I was able to get plumbers over for a quote, I never heard from them again.

They are extremely busy as most tradesmen are these days, but they made time to come and bid several
jobs.

They showed up with a crew and worked hard under the house so I was not out of water for more than a a few hours. Their crew is professional and some of the best tradesmen.

I have a complete new system throughout my home now with no issues and passing inspection with zero problems.

They are one of the best, they show up and they get the job done. No flakes here.

You will pay for what you get. Quality workmanship, clean water and no leaks.

Your rude and arrogant behavior is the first reason people shouldn't do business with you. The only person that lied is you. Everything was properly done and working beautifully as a $20 snake from Lowes fixed a problem that a supposedly trained plumber couldn't. As for your quality work and my satisfied referrals....another falsehood as I have spent many hours patching walls where you carelessly sawed clear through to another Apartments walls, left a muddy mess ect. You don't need to respond to my comments and probably shouldn't have as your temperament shows through and verified my review of same.
