Our home warranty company sent them out for a simple repair spoke with the technician on site assured me it was a simple job maybe four to $600. They then sent an estimate to the warranty company of over $1800 with multiple items that were not needed I can only assume they were attempting to scam the warranty company. After my review and pictures were posted of our first experience with J&L Plumbing they immediately made arrangements for another technician to come out and fix the issue. Ryan was a very thorough technician who righted the wrong that was done.

These clowns were contracted through my home warranty company. I was without a hot water heater for 14 days!! I filed my claim immediately and they didn't even show up for 6 days, only to take pictures. 5 days later they showed up with an electric water heater, not gas. Several days later the right water heater arrived. The poor girl answering the phone had to deal with unhappy customers and couldn't do much but make calls. The servicemen were awesome but I never received a call back from the manager or owners, whoever was in charge. I called and texted their ""emergency"" numbers with no response. My home warranty company even approved $1100 to reimburse me to buy and install one from Home Depot because of J&L. The managers are ruining this business and need to be replaced with people that know how to provide real customer service, much like their front line employees. I'm a real estate professional and will steer people away from using this company.

RUN! If you're assigned this plumber by your home warranty company, RUN! They came out for a clogged drain and flushed the toilet once. They refused to use the ground-level cleanout for the kitchen and left. Had they used the ground level cleanout for the kitchen or tried a snake anywhere else in the house they would have discovered a collapsed sewer pipe. I had to put up my tenants for three days before a competent plumber made the correct diagnosis and I could file an insurance claim. J&L reported the problem as a clogged main line which was not the case. THESE PEOPLE ARE LAZY AND PROVIDED AN INCORRECT DIAGNOSIS TO MY HOME WARRANTY COMPANY. BEWARE!
