Justin and his amazing team of professionals did a great job remodeling our guest house. They transformed a mediocre living space into something that we can be truly proud of. We are absolutely thrilled with the beautiful transformation Justin's crew did to our home, which included remodeling two bathrooms and sewer pipe replacement for half of our home, as well as prep and installation of a new custom front door. Their craftmanship, pride, and dedication to do a first-class job was evident in the final product.

Omar, the project foreman, is the BEST!! He always anticipated what needed to be done and assigned the right craftsman to do the job. He is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of construction and is hands-on with helping and educating the crew about how to perform each job.

Over the years we have done many home remodel projects but never have experienced perfection like we did with the JK Wood team. All team members showed up on time ready to work and cleaned up the worksite before they left on a daily basis. They were all respectful and were all a pleasure to have around during our construction project. We very highly recommend JK Wood Construction.

Justin and Omar and their work crew, did an amazing job on our bathroom remodel! Had it completely done in two weeks! I used to use Justin's dad for construction, (a fine, former marine) and Justin would come along as a teenager to assist his dad. Now I am proud to see he is all grown up with years of experience, a nice family and his own business (dad retired).
We have used JK Wood on several projects and the work is wonderful! One of the things I love about this company is that Justin has loyal employees that are experts in different modes of the projects. The different experts come for their portion of the project so you always get the best work. This group is overseen by a real gentleman (who looks scary at first Lol), Omar. Both Omar and Justin are very easy to contact and easy to communicate with if you change your idea or add on. All the guys are super nice and I trust them and leave them alone in our home with zero worries.
Post says we are in San Fran but no, Goleta/Gaviota!
I HIGHLY recommend JK construction, the only company we use.

These guys are probably the most honest and fair we've ever dealt with. They did such a great job we kept hiring them for other projects, big and small. They've done everything from installing flooring throughout the house to building a Trex deck that we get constant compliments on. I'm not sure there's anything they CANT do, and the quality is always beyond reproach. We feel so lucky to have found them.

I was optimistic because Justin appeared to have extensive experience and was eager to begin working on the project. However, his ""at the most it will cost"" estimate was excessively off the mark, despite that there were many pricey options that I later forfeited. He only came to the job site approximately once a week and his team was less than experienced. I was prepared for things to go wrong when undertaking an extensive renovation and for us to work through it, but when things did go wrong he took no responsibility and consistently blamed me, the material, or his own workers. I was forced to let him go and work with independent carpenters, painters, and plumbers to complete the job.
