He was very friendly and professional, gave me a few recommendations to prevent future damage, cleaned before he left, and the cost was very reasonable. I have had these guys help us take a look at several plumbing issues over the past year and they have been amazing. This past Saturday, we had a pretty serious clog in our bathtub drain and Tal was able to get taken care of within 30 minutes.

Under new ownership, this company has definitely stepped it up. Easy to reach, quick to respond, knowledgeable, flexible, organized, and on time; what more could you ask for? They recently upgraded their call system to include an answering service, so you can feel at ease that they will receive your message in a timely manner. Each time I've called and left a message, someone from JK Plumbing would usually get back to me within an hour.

Honest and reliable, Tal even gave us some advice on what we could do for preventative maintenance before he left. Also, it's great to hear that they now serve anywhere along the peninsula from San Francisco to San Jose.

A toilet in my apartment became clogged by a Skotch Brite sponge. I called JK Plumbing. Alex, the plumber, arrived quickly, and was fast and efficient. He quickly used the hand auger to snake the toilet and clear the blockage, and he made sure the toilet was unclogged. Good job! CC

My old water heater went out after 10+ years of service. Of course it had to happen on a Friday after hours. I called JK plumbing in South San Francisco took my call right before closing time. Antonio was extremely professional, could not quote me prices over the phone, but sent Juan the tech the next morning. They removed and replace my 35 gallons old heater with a better and bigger 50 gallons heater, now we don't run out of hot water like we used! Professional service, quick and well price!

Contacted JK Plumbing to repair a small leak and was quoted $59 for the visit with the service being additional. I assumed the complete job would be no more than $200 or so. My mistake was not asking for a quote before the work was started. The plumber that arrived did not offer one either.

I asked that the leak be capped instead of repairing the joint. The plumber took an hour to locate/shop for the cap and returned with a PVC/Plastic cap. The work took about 30 minutes and I was charged $375 for the job.

What made the situation worst was that the PVC/Plastic cap split in half the next morning. Now the original small leak became a water spout requiring me to return home from the office. Another more experienced plumber arrived to repair the issue with a brass cap, but it should have been done correctly in the first place for what I was charged. I also missed a day of work.

I needed to have my main drain cleaned out, which I do every year because I have trees near the line. JK Plumbing came out and, when I asked how much the cleanup would be, I was quoted $695.00. I said you are kidding and started walking away. The technician then said, ""Well, maybe we could do it for $500.00. "" I told him I would prefer to get other bids, and then I was quoted $350.00, which was still overpriced. I am a 74 year old woman. I find it dishonest when people try to take advantage of someone because of their age or gender or how much they think they can pay. It is poor business policy. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Early in morning heard water faintly running or leaking I found out. Of course the 13yr old water heater in our kitchen closet. So glad last one I had a pan put under it. Escaping to driveway. No flooding.
Phoned JK plumbing. Talked with a real person, they had a technician able to come by. Within the hour. WOW. Richardo & Juan showed up masks on, assessed the leak and offered to replace with replacement same manufacturer. Install take away old one. Re-strap and lit it stayed till was up and heating to temp. Now I have a 5 Star Plumber. Did whole job within a few hours.
