So I was looking for a plumber to investigate/repair a major leak/water spout that occurred using the dishwasher. Response I got back was, ""...don't offer the service."" Seems strange to be a ""plumbing"" business that states it offers ""drain repair"" and ""faucet repair"" and then reply with that response. Good news is there are ample ""plumbing"" businesses that actually do plumbing repairs.

Needed two main shutoff valves replaced and two hose bibs. Alik arrived for a consult to evaluate plumbing size before an estimate. Evaluated my project and said he had time to do it all now before his next call. Went and purchased necessary parts and returned quickly to start job. Existing plumbing from original construction in 1971 kind of "" tight"" but Alik evaluated the ""puzzle"" and made the appropriate cuts to install two new ball valves in the limited space. Then quickly replaced the hose bibs that were leaking. All done in about three hours! Professional job with the appropriate tools and knowledge to solve installation problems. Prices competitive.Would definitely hire again!

Alik replied to our Yelp request for a leaking hot water tank quickly and arranged to come that afternoon. Gave us options for tank and tankless, set clear and thorough expectations about timing of installation and what work would be required for each that allowed us to compare with other vendors. We had lots of questions and he was very patient answering them, including how the installation may need tweaking because of unexpected circumstances. Alik emailed quotes by the next day and after our decision to go with him and a tankless water heater because of his pricing, he kept us updated by text on the purchasing of equipment (including pictures). Alik showed up when he promised and kept us up to date throughout the installation that day. The work required patching the wall, and he returned 2 days later to paint the patch as he promised, even though we had already paid him (I know this sounds weird to be a praise, but we've had other experiences of vendors flaking out after payment, even if the work wasn't finished). We weren't available to look at his work so he texted us an ""after"" picture without prompting. We found a small issue with a faucet after the installation and he was able to verbally coach us through that easy correction. Really appreciated his work and help.

I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received from Alik. He fixed my problem (a leaky water purifier) in the easiest and least expensive way possible. If I ever have other plumbing needs, I'll certainly be using this company!

Alik was available the same day for a plumbing emergency. The other plumbers I called were saying they were booked for 5-8 days out, and I didn't have water in my house, so I was so relieved that Alik was available that afternoon. There was a leak in the main valve to the house and the outdoor hose bib, and he fixed both efficiently and carefully in a short time. Alik had all the parts he needed with him, so he didn't have to take time to go get them. His work is reasonably priced and he is very pleasant and kind. I highly recommend JK Plumbing for any work you need! A great experience.
