Requested a Yelp quote, receiving a quick response, and called Jave (Joe) the next morning. He and a helper show up, and have my tub working LIKE NEW in no time, for a very competitive rate.

I thought I had broken my garbage disposal. After getting quotes from a few plumbers, Joe was able to provide the best price. When he came to replace my disposal, he tried reseting it first. It's never a good start to a morning when the shower won't turn off. Craziness and chaos ensued as we tried to get things under control and also get ready for work. In addition to the shower not turning off, we had a faulty shut-off valve...so, we couldn't turn off the water. Ugh. I pulled up Yelp and found Joe's number. He responded right away and let me know that he would be able to stop by within the hour. He helped us right away and gave us an assessment of what needed to be done.
He still needed to take care of some other appointments, but said that he would try to squeeze us in. In the mean time, he was able to turn off the main water, but we had accidentally taken him to our neighbor's main shut-off from the street and so our water was still running when he drove away! I called him and he was so kind to turn around even though he was already 20 minutes away! He came all the way back and helped us out again. This resulted in him missing his next appointment, but I believe he realized that our situation was more dire (running water and potential water damage!). Sorry to the other client who ended up being aggravated by this turn in events, but we really needed Joe and he was our hero that day. He did an amazing job fixing our shower and provided the replacement hardware. He came back later in the week to help fix the faulty shut-off valve. He did this all with a calm and professional manner. His pricing was fair and reasonable.

My parents' water heater broke down and I called J&K Plumbing after seeing great reviews on yelp. Joe answered right away and gave me a quick quote after reviewing the pictures of the water heater I sent him. I had called around a few other places prior and his price was the best! Also he could come out and do the job right away on the same day.
When he did come out though, he found out the work would be harder than expected due to the location of the water heater being inside a closet in the garage. But he kept his word on the price and did a great job!
He was very professional and got the job done quickly. If I have any plumbing needs myself in the future, I'll definitely be contacting Joe.

I'd say beware! The quote he gave me for the heater replacement, I called up the hardware store he was sourcing from in front of him and it was 40% less. He got very aggressive and started threatening if I didn't go ahead with him.

So my suggestion, get a quote, cross verify by calling around, and only go with him if in dire need.

Like many people we had a plumbing emergency and Joe did not disappoint! My mom's water heater was leaking and water was all over the garage. Joe came promptly and assessed the situation and had a brand new water heater installed and properly functioning within 2 hours! He even helped with the cleanup. This was an older house so the water heater was from at least 30 years ago and he made so many regulatory upgrades which were needed. Service was fantastic and pricing very reasonable. JK plumbing will be our go-to from here on. Thank you Joe for everything you did for my mom!
