TLDR: Way too expensive..like waaaaaayyyyy tooo much. Do your research.
We called J&K for fixing a blocked kitchen sink a few weeks ago. We'd self-diagnosed the issue and knew the problem was not the garbage disposal, and we even pinpointed the pipes where the clog was likely to be. J&K was responsive, came out the next day and quoted us more than $450. 450!!!! We of course were in a bind as it's hard to manage without a kitchen sink and we'd already been eating out mostly for a few days to avoid having to do dishes. If we'd called other plumbers, they might not have been able to come out the same day or even the next day. We were desperate, so we agreed. Joe and his partner got their tool out, which was basically an extra long snake (which we had already contemplated buying for $89 on amazon), and were done with unclogging in 4 mins. In 10 minutes, they were packed up and out of our house leaving our pockets much much lighter. Next day, we saw an ad in the newspaper for a rooter company that guaranteed unclogging of any block anywhere for $69. So, while they got us back in working order very quickly, I felt cheated, especially considering they didn't have to do any troubleshooting at all. I will not be using them again.
Fast forward 2 days from the time of service, I saw their truck outside our neighbor's house. After they left, we both exchanged notes of expensive service and feeling ripped off.

Javed-Kullie was amazing. Not only did he answer my quote within 10 minutes he was able to come and save the day. The pipes under my sink were installed by the previous owner and not only were they old but totally corroded. A pipe had broken which caused water to go everywhere. When Javed-Kullie assessed the situation, he gave me options on what to do. We ended up having to replace all of the old plumbing as it crumbled in his hand while working on it. In the end he was able to take a bad situation and clean it up professionally.. just look at the pictures. I would super recommend J&K Plumbing.. quick, easy, affordable, and professional!

I called J&K within 24 hours he had replaced the water heater. Super helpful, super responsive and super accommodating. It was for a rental unit I have in Fremont. I wasn't able to meet him in Fremont. He coordinated with my tenant and got the job done. He then drove to Dublin to take the payment. I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to use them again. Thanks Joe!

I had my water heater go out for several days. Contacted J&K Plumbing and Joe was able to come the next day. Not only did they come on time but finished the work and got my water working again within a hour! The job was completed and they cleaned everything up before leaving. Not only are they efficient but they do quality work.

Whenever I need a service person, I feel so vulnerable. I know that I absolutely need their service, but I know I am at their mercy when it comes to diagnostics, what's needed & price.
I'd called J&K last year when my bathroom sink was plugged. They were prompt, efficient & worked quickly. I don't remember how much I paid, but I know I felt it was reasonable.
This time it was for my hot water heater. It seemed sudden that it my water just stopped getting hot. We really needed hot water! The men came at the time that they said they would. It took two men because I live upstairs. For the inconvenience of lugging heavy appliances or furniture up my stairs, I generally pay dearly & this was no exception. The men were efficient & timely. They secured my new water heater properly & made sure I had hot water before they left. I was charged handsomely for labor & stairs.
