I have spent close to $40,000 with this company over the last 25 years having a geothermal heat pump system installed and then replaced with a new system, along with other plumbing projects.
Last week I had a water heater that started leaking and was under warranty. Technician stated that I would only pay for labor to replace.
Technician was there less than 3 hours and my bill was $890.00.
Called to ask why bill was so high and was told they charge $189.00/hr and the rest was for ""storage of the water heater and pipe fittings"".
So $300 to store a water heater and a few pipe fittings in addition to a rate of $189.00/hr
Absolute highway robbery
Never doing business with this company again

The driver of the van ZTF-5757 on route 30 at 1:50pm (August 9th) was driving at the most ridiculous speed. Watched him tailgate other vehicles after passing me. I could not get over fast enough for him so he flipped me off. Absolutely uncalled for. He is going to hurt someone with that kind of driving.

Used to be much more responsive, competitive with better service people. Paid them lots of money over the years only to find out they missed some important electrical issues in my heat pump. Paid them a fortune to come out time and time again to find out what the problem was, and they never could. Issue solved when I bought in someone else, who finally diagnosed the problem correctly. This is a vey common issue with businesses in their 2nd generation of upper management. If your comfortable trying one of the ""big electrical companies"" , I'd try someone else.

JK Mechanical's CHRIS JONES, resolved a very long standing HVAC issue in our home. Chris determined that the equipment needed to have refrigerant added (not inexpensive) and ducts in the attic crawlspace replaced. Michael replaced the faulty ducts - heated or cooled air was escaping into the crawlspace rather than getting to its destination.

After living in this residence for 28 years and having three other HVAC companies service our units, plus having replaced failed units, our home now holds the temperature that the thermostat is set at.

I could not be happier. I just hope the freon doesn't escape!

They used to be responsive with good work at fair prices. Now they do not even pick up the phone to service a generator we paid them $20,000 to install.

I've used them in the past with very mixed results.

I had one of their HVAC folks out for 5 hours trying to diagnose a heating issue with a baseboard upstairs in my home. He couldn't figure it out. Got charged $400.

A year later, I got fed up and hired a different company who diagnosed the problem and bled the entire radiator system, fixed the issue.

Wish I could give them a better rating but I can't. They flat rate their HVAC repairs quote based on so many hours to do the job and then they come out and do it in a third of that time - but charge you for all the hours anyway. Furthermore, I have found their products to be unsatisfactory when it comes to ground source heat pumps. WATER FURNACE is their brand they push. That is because you can only buy parts from them for this make. The unit they sold me failed after six years and had to be replaced.There are far better ground source heat pumps on the market that do not force you into a parts and service monopoly.

Excellent service! This company came the same day that I called. Tom explained to me how the user interfacer works and it helped me to better understand the system. He also explained JK Mechanical's Service Contract which is well worth the money. I feel that this company is very service oriented. I highly recommend this company if you need a new air conditioning system.

Jim S. was on time and called to say when he would arrive. He checked out the problem and had to put in a work order to have the repair done later due to needed materials and equipment. Mike L. called to say he was on his way and arrived on time and went right to work on the repairs. Mike has proven his abilities as a knowledgeable technician in previous work and I was grateful he was assigned this task.

JK Mechanical is a good HVAC business to work with. They installed our geothermal heating system a few years ago and have performed our twice yearly service on the unit since installation. Their technicians are courteous , friendly and very professional.
