Avoid this business at all cost if you can. Technitions are professional and timely, but the business engages in high pressure tactic and encourages monthy subscriptions? that would border on a scam. It took months for me to get the subscription cancelled and when they finally got around to it I was expected to pay back the minor discount I got for having dispite having paid 3 times the standard rate to get a 240v outlet installed. They have standard prices for every job and are not open to negotiation for considerations such as having an exposed ceiling that should make the work easier.

We had to have our water tank replaced, the two tech's, Justin and Vinny came out and solved our problem in no time. They went to work and cleaned up , very professional. Your company is very professional. I have used you in the past and was always pleased with the service.

My wife and I built our home. J&J did the plumbing for the house. We moved in March of 2021. We were noticing an odor of gas from our upstairs furnace. We called the gas company who said the found a leak and its from where the attachment was made to the furnace. They stated that this was just a poor fitting and was not put together correctly. The guy said this issue doesn't just happen that quickly in a home. He said it was barely noticeable because it was contained in an upstairs closet we never open since its just the furnace inside there and was just below explosion levels. They shut off our gas to that area. We contacted our builder who said it needs to be handled through the plumbing company since they should warranty it since its their work. I call J&J who sent someone out. The guy from J&J agreed that it was not put together well and that is what caused the leak. It was too new to have the type of leak it did and was right at a connection point. Especially since its in an area that no one can get to and mess with. I have called a few time as well as text messages to have a manager call me because I do not feel I should pay for this being multiple people including their own employee said its not something that just happens that quickly after being installed. I was charged almost 900 dollars and there is also a bunch of blue stuff in multiple spots now in my carpet I am unable to get out. Again my issue is the cost for what was not done right in the first place and also that I have attempted to talk to a manager or someone about this issue however I have not received a call back or any communication from them and its been well over a month now.

Started using this company in early 2020.have always been very responsive. They're very respectful of your property (wood floors, animals) they provide quality work.
But pricing has gone up too much.

Very bad service etiquette. The servicemen were very rude and disrespectful in their tone and talking with me and my children . I should've told them leave my house when I heard the sarcasm initially. They were yelling at my kids and rude as hell. I would never recommend them to my friends and family or my neighbors and I will be giving a bad review verbally to everyone who will listen.

My hot water tank broke down, but it wasn't unexpected, as it was 12 yrs old. Living in the Falls, that is saying a lot. I contacted this company, as I have used them before, and have been happy with their work-:) I was so very pleased to hear, that I would be the 2nd job of the day!!-:)
Greg and Andrew arrived earlier than expected, after a courtesy call ahead of time! I was informed of the replacement cost up front- It was very Reasonable-
Pleasant, courteous, clean and efficient-
They went straight to work, and I had my new tank in 2 hrs.!-:)

J&J Plumbing charges $ 89 just for a quote, they then send a quote 5-6 times the US average. They recently sent a quote for over $ 1,600.00 for a 2-3 hours job using $25 worth of parts. They obviously have no respect for the customer and seem to take advantage of people, especially senior citizens. I'm having the same work done by a licensed, state certified plumber for $75 per hour, so the same job is being completed for $ 225.00 plus the $25 in parts. You can clearly see how they take advantage of elderly and people who are not familiar with contractors. Do yourself and use any other company. J$J will be reported to the BBB and others

We have used J&J Plumbing Heating and Cooling for several of our projects at our home. Scott has been super to work with. He is exact in his work and very knowledgeable of plumbing projects. He is prompt and courteous. Scott completes a project as if it were in his home! When we need something done we turn to Scott at J&J Pluming!

I have used Greg from J&J for years and have always been completely satisfied. He and an apprentice came to my house, as scheduled, to help diagnose a problem I had with a shower faucet. Another plumber had told me I needed a thermostatic cartridge and ordered a new part with a 3 week waiting time. Greg took the entire faucet apart, figured out exactly what the problem was and explained what part I needed (not a cartridge). While putting my faucet back together he showed me exactly what he was doing, explained to me in detail the problem and gave me the right guidance to order the replacement part. We have an older home and have had him do many other jobs for us. He is experienced, careful and knows what he is doing. Don't hesitate to call J&J - if you are concerned...ask for Greg and wait until he is available.

The office folks were good and the scheduling was easy. However, do not use this company as they are not focused on customer service but rather on up-selling services. I scheduled to have my main drain cleaned ($199 - Red's does it for $100), a leaking shut off replaced and to have two down spout drains checked with a camera as I wanted to know if/where the drain may be broke.

When I was explaining the work, the repair guy cut me off and said he recommended that I don't use the camera and just replace my drains. I told him I couldn't afford to replace two whole drains but he kept making the suggestion. When I asked him how much it would cost, I was quoted $4000 a drain. I told him to just snake my main drain and I would get someone else to do the rest of the work I requested.

The repair guy then said he would use the camera on one of the drains for free but I told him I have two drains that I need to verify the integrity of the pipes.....using the camera on one drain will not help my situation (I have water flowing under my driveway and need to know if it is the drains or the cracks in the driveway causing the problem).

Read some of the other ratings and you will see that Up-Selling is part of this companies business plan. One review said that the repair folks get bonuses based on up-selling.

Do NOT use this company as you will be over charged (compared to other companies in the area) and you will be pressured to purchase more expensive parts/services.
