I called JJ kokesh to fix a clogged drain. They hired out another company to come complete the job. The man from that company broke my drain pipe in my basement, came and told me ""I pulled too hard and broke the pipe"". He called kokesh and they agreed to come fix his mistake. They then charged me nearly $600 to fix the pipe that the company they hired broke, and now want to charge me an additional $175 to pay the company who broke it initially! When I called the owner to ask why I was charged when the company they hired broke my pipe, he said that glue from pvc pipes will not break under pressure if installed correctly and refused to take any blame at all. This feels like a scam to me and very illegal. They hired a company to break your pipes more and then charge you to fix it.

A plumber came to provide a quote on Wednesday and tested the all fixtures by running water, claiming the water is escaping through the gap in the shower door. I did ask him to test some more since the leak was not significant and consistent. He ran the water again... He only collected $90, which is what they told me on the phone, but he thought he should charge me more since he has done some work. We put a towel on the gap to trap the water but The leak SHOWED UP LATER AGAIN. I called back to ask for an immediate call back but they said it would be $300 minimum since it would be on the weekend. I decided to wait until Monday and on Monday they told me it would be Tuesday and they would charge me more if it is not plumbing related. I couldn't take any more work off so I had to cancel the service.

Another company came over early morning to investigate again and they ran all fixture and cut the dry wall and finally found THREE trim nails had been shot into hot water pex piping in three locations in the master bedroom behind vanity. It was bad and my baseboard and dry wall are all molded.

I just feel the plumber was unprofessional because there was not rust in the gap, the leak's location didn't match the gap, and all he did was run some water without even cutting the drywall to properly assess the leak and he only ran the cold water for some reason. Even though I accidentally turned on the hot water, the plumber said it wasn't necessary. The damage could be significant since the leak spread quickly after being touched, but they told me it would cost a minimum of $300 to fix, which should have been addressed properly from the start and No warranty on work.

Had a really good experience with this plumbing company. They were able to fit me in for a service visit in short order, the plumber was really nice and great at answering questions and accommodating to my special requests. Will use them again!

Horrible service. They outsource the work to another company and will not stand by their work. Avoid this company they are overpriced.

Co-Owner Megan was so helpful when my kitchen drain froze last week. She gave me ideas how to warm drain, and wait long enough to see if it would thaw on its own. It finally did! In checking, I was so grateful for Megan's help. I will call Kokesh for all my plumbing needs.

If they had a lower rating to give they would get it it, charged $1100 to replace my master water shut off valve and about 2 feet of pipein Feb of 22, put the cover panel back on wall, fast forward to Sept 2022, have and issue with the water company so I was told to go in and shut the house off so they could find any issues in their end to dispute my bill, guess what valve doesn't even shut off the house. The strange thing is when the guy was done he said, don't touch this valve they are junk , always turn off the valve at your meter... we'll guess what, you have to be able to turn it off, a for service call if the water company comes out and in case of emergency if a pipe burst , you can't dunce around in the middle of the night if it's dark outside to shut the water off looking for their water valve in the yard, and then the tool ya need to shut it off! So at this point after I call them, the basically told me it's not covered, we will have to recharge for any work and service call on a valve that has never been touched since the day they left. My guess is it didn't work when installed, DO NOT USE THE PEOPLE!!! Terrible workmanship, even worse warranty, and terrible service after the sale! To top it all off the basically called me an idiot and I was wrong.

Called for a quote to replace two outdoor faucets with no freeze new ones. $65 charge for a quote to come to the house. Charge is credited towards job if you hire.
Plumber contacted me by phone with a $700 quote and said he would email a written quote which never came, even checked my spam. Husband called and was told verbally job would be $799 and change.
Price not only seems unreasonable, it changed with no changes on my end and I never received anything in writing. They got my $65 quote fee but not my business. Be careful to get your quote in writing...apparently verbal quotes can skyrocket with no notice.
