Jim's Plumbing began on August 14, 1967, established by Jim Ujazdowski. Trained in Three Lakes, Wisconsin, Jim and he accumulated seven years of plumbing experience prior to starting his own venture in Appleton, Wisconsin.
For the first two years, Jim primarily worked alone, performing much of the same plumbing work we do today— such as commercial, multifamily, and residential plumbing services. As the workload grew, Jim's Plumbing expanded by hiring apprentices and more plumbers.
Jim's eldest son, Jeff, joined the family business during high school and right after. The job scarcity of the early 1980s led him to seek other employment opportunities that equipped him with valuable business and interpersonal skills.
