Jim's Plumbing began on August 14, 1967, established by Jim Ujazdowski. Trained in Three Lakes, Wisconsin, Jim before he opened his own plumbing business in Appleton, Wisconsin, he had seven years of experience.
For the first two years, Jim primarily worked alone, conducting the same types of plumbing projects we handle today— covering commercial, multifamily, and residential plumbing projects. As demand increased, Jim's Plumbing brought on apprentices and additional plumbers.
During and immediately after high school, Jim's firstborn, Jeff, became part of the family business. The work shortage in the early 1980s prompted him to voluntarily pursue different job opportunities that helped him develop strong business and interpersonal abilities.
