We recently purchased a house that the inspection revealed the need for a pressure regulator valve. The sellers hired another local plumber to do the work. Shortly after we closed we noticed a leak at the area they worked on. We called that plumber several times. 3 reschedules/cancellations later we gave up on them & called Jim's Plumbing. Mark scheduled for the next day & arrived on time. He inspected the issue, let me know what he recommended & started the repairs. The work was done in a timely manner and with quality parts. We will definitely call Mark with any future plumbing needs. Highly recommend!! Thank you for getting our water back on!!

We had a leaking sink, and plumbing issues a lot of alkali build up in the lines. A slow flushing toilet. And no access to the back of shower. They showed up on time. Mark is very knowledgeable and what he does with many years of experience. Do you feel very comfortable about who shows up at your door.
I felt at ease and comfortable ..And I feel like they went over and above what we asked them to do at a very affordable price. Plus they have over 10 years of experience. I highly recommend this company

I called our Home Warranty company about our water heater problem. They referred me to Jim's Plumbing. I spoke with Mark and we set up an appointment and Mark came out to check out the issue. Mark was super nice and determines the problem. He left to call the Warranty company to get approval to install a new water heater. I received a call later in the day from the Warranty company that they will install a new one. The next morning I received a call from Mark and we set up an appointment for that morning. Tom came out and did a fantastic job! He solved several other code compliance issues too! Tom was great to work with and worked real hard and fast too! I highly recommend them!

Mark relocated a water softener for me. When done, he noticed that a pipe fitting on the filter case had cracked. He had also installed a new filter during the move. He told me he had a filter case in stock and that he would replace the cracked case for free. He said that he didn't want to stress the case and to call him when the filter needed changing. When I called, he refused to come out.

We have lived in Pahrump for a little over a year. In that time we have dealt with all kinds. We know the good one's and the bad one's.
MARK IS ONE OF THE GOOD ONE'S. My septic system had a problem. Toilets where not going down and the master shower was filling with, you know, not nice. I called and spoke to Mark an was provided, by my request, info to possibly remedy my situation without a service call. He was very calm, cool and collected. I could not fix it. I called at about 11:AMish. Mark arrived within the time he stated, worked with a few tools at his disposal, to discover, after a few hours, a possible septic pipe directional error in installation. I asked the home builder where the septic system lines where and the direction of flow. The information provided by Top Rank Builders was incorrect. Most disturbing on the over all plot plan shows our well is located in the NW corner when it is actually in the NE corner. Makes me wonder what else is ""under ground"". Sorry not warm and fuzzy with TRB.
However, Mark at JIM'S PLUMBING along with Sam at Tiberti Fence, Mike at Mobile Locksmith, James at JM Concrete, these companies rank the highest on my list of true good guys.

Had a problem with the toilet. System needed to be changed for proper flushing. Called Jim. He was receptive and came that week. He was willing to come the same day if needed despite being very busy, I am sure.
He was very efficient and did a fantastic job in a less than an hour and the price was more than fair.
I have used other plumbers in Pahrump who overcharged and would have to go to Home Depot, making me wait over an hour to go get the supplies that they needed. Why over an hour was always strange to me and they would charge me an arm and a leg.
With Jim, the efficiency was on a completely different level. He came over exactly when he said he would and called prior to coming. He inspected and knew the problem right away. He had everything he needed with him and took care of the problem within 30 minutes.

The day before yesterday at about midnight I heard a weird sound coming from the garage. I was tired and thought it was the water softener starting up and promptly went back to sleep. The next morning my wife jumped in the shower and told me we had no hot water. I checked the water heater and sure enough, it was dead to the world.

I called the home warranty company and they sent my work order to Jim's Plumbing in Pahrump NV. Now this is my second experiance with Jim's plumbing. The first time I called about a septic problem and Jim told me he was backed up with jobs and wouldn't be able to get to me for a few days so rather than making me wait to be able to flush my toilets he recommended a different plumbing business that would probably be able to get to me sooner. I called Jim's recommended septic guy and he had my problem fixed in less than an hour. I have much respect for a business man who cares enough about his customers to send them to someone else if they might get faster service.

This time Jim called me to set up an appointment to come look at my water heater and had someone at my house about 30 minutes after we hung up. The guy (I think his name was Nick but I am terrible with names so don't quote me on that) was friendly, curtious and knowledgeable. He checked out my hot water heater and recommended replacement rather than fixing it however the home warranty company would have to approve that. So it would be the next day before he could do it. The warranty company gave him approval to replace the water heater and he called the next morning to let me know he was going to replace the unit and set up a time. He showed up about 30 minutes later and not only did he replace my water heater with a new, larger, more efficient unit, he also straitened out the mess of plumbing coming out of it and cleaned up the area around it. I now have a new, correctly installed water heater and better water pressure throughout the whole house thanks to him cutting out unnecessary bends in the piping. Jim's umbing did great work in a fast friendly way and we really appreciate It! Thanks!

Sunday morning the water pipe into the house snapped. I called Jim's after finding some good Yelp reviews. My call went to Mark's voicemail. I left my name, number, what the problem was.
That was at approximately 11.30am Sunday. We are on a well. No water for washing, bathrooms, cooking. It's now Tuesday morning. Still no reply. Our family had to spend the night in a hotel! A friend came at 6am Monday morning after hearing about the trouble on Sunday night and did the repair.

Mark and Tom did a sink install that required attic activity and running pipes through the wall. The installation went smooth and everything looks great and works great. Excellent job, and kudos to Mark and Tom.
