Ron from Jimmie Smith Plumbing called right at 8 (I had called the night before, a Sunday, and said the next morning was OK) and asked me a few questions, said he needed to stop for parts on the way and was at my house by 8:45. He had exactly what he needed on the truck, had my hot water tank fixed, and was rolling down the driveway by just past 9. I'd say that's pretty damned good

ABSOLUTE RIPOFFS!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Wish I had seen Yelp reviews first. Would give them 0 stars, if possible. Ron came over the first day, went under our house for 15 minutes and said he couldn't replace the pipe alone. Nothing was done, but we were charged for one hour of work. RIDICULOUS!! The next day he came back with another worker who did the job by himself, after spending an hour locating the leak. By the way, a week earlier, a pest inspector found the leak within 15 minutes. We were charged 2 1/2 hours for each person, although Ron basically didn't do much at all. Total bill came to $1,000. A good plumber can do this type of fix alone in an 1 1/2. Also, it was requested that a heating duct be reset (it was sagging). A week later, pest inspector came to review that the work had been completed. He noticed that the heating duct work was not done. When I called JS to ask them to come back and complete the job, the response was a bunch of excuses why they were not going to: ""we don't work on heating ducts"", ""too tight to work under the home"", etc. FOLKS, DO NOT USE THIS SCAM BUSINESS (oops...a supposed ""business"").

The plumber reeked of cigarette smoke which stunk up my house, he tracked mud all over my kitchen, and got the sink really dirty too. I do not recommend them!!!!

Hands-down the WORST plumber EVER. They are crooks- warning - do NOT use them. Simply put, they were called to repair a clogged drain. The service man came in to investigate. Without a written estimate, he proceeded to clear the drain. I agreed to pay a somewhat reasonable fee. When goi g to use the drain later on I discovered that the clog was not repaired. I called and was told they do not work weekends and the service man would be back at 8 am Monday. Nobody showed. I called and called...no answer. I decided to repair it myself, which I did. They refused to refund my money. CROOKS. The County DA will be my next stop.

I would like to give them a 0 star if I could.
They came to my business on a busy day and we ask them to return back . They did few hours later but it was still very busy. He told us that he will be back next day and didn't . Today ( weeks later) I receive a bill from for a job that was NEVER perform ... The didn't even let us know that they will charge us for the travel or made us sign any bill .... They are fake and a RIP OFF !!!!!!!!!

Please beware. This is not Jimmie Smith Plumbing2. This is the original JS Plumbing site whose family has been around for decades. Jimmie Smith Plumbing2 is a former employee (Phil) who is apparently creating a bad name. I have used the original Jimmie Smith Plumbing for over 30 years. They have done great work for me recently and will in the future.

Have been doing business with this plumber for over 15 years. My last experience was awful. Called and had an answering service take my information. Receive 1 call and I was not home and they never called back to schedule an appointment. Do not bother to call them, it appears that do not need the business

We've been calling them for the past two days with a plumbing problem and they won't even call us back. If you have an emergency call someone else, don't even try to call these guys-- you'll just waste your time waiting for them to call you back.

I wish they had a no star (really bad) option. DON'T EVER USE JIMMY SMITH plumbing. My husband stayed home from work this morning waiting for a plumber to show up. We got a message that he couldn't find our house (which is really easy to find). He stated that he had other jobs and was moving on. I called the office and they didn't offer up any solutions. We really try to help out local businesses, but this happens time and time again.

Two visits over one week to fix a running toilet, and it's still NOT fixed. Now a part needs to be ordered they say... Mmmmmmmmm....

This business is INCOMPETENT--move on! Do yourself a favor and try another higher rated business that can handle simple plumbing jobs...!
