We've used Jim Trombly Plumbing a few times this past year and we were more than satisfied with his work. For an emergency call at our condo he was able to get there the next morning and for some plumbing at our house he came out assessed the job and was there when quoted. Very professional team.
Don't rely on the price given to you over the phone. The two workers that showed up were excellent and got the job done and got there next day, that is what the three stars are for. Adam and his co worker were very professional. Very pleased with the actual service. However, we provided about $400 worth of parts and were given a price over the phone by Rocky of 1,800 plus the cost of the hw heater and were later charged 3,384 for a hw heater in a condo unit. Later called to negotiate price, again spoke with Rocky, he was very rude and unprofessional. Called back to speak with owner, and no call back. Good luck, maybe you will have a better experience.
I call Jim Trombly any time we have plumbing issues and we've had a lot of issues!!!
Charged me twice for the same job in a 5 month period. I had my filler valve replaced on toilet and had to have it replaced twice in 5 months. I have owned a house 1969. I have only replaced one refill valve in all that time. The person who replaced it the second time said the water coming in from the city was dirty. I have a second bathroom and have had no problems for 11 years. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH JIM TROMBLY!
They did the job but they were pricey. We had been told by an oil company that we used to deal with that we only needed to clean our furnace every 2 years because our use is minimal. Jim gave us a quote but then doubled it when he asked how long it's been since we had it serviced and we explained that it had been 2 years as suggested by the oil company. They did the same amount of work had it been only a year so the cost was ridiculous . Not to mention, the guy was at our house for an hour and we were charged for 2 hours. We would have paid the price with no problem had the guy been there for 2 hours due to us only having it cleaned every 2 years... but it still only took ONE HOUR. Needless to say, we found another company.
Chris K.There guys are GREAT!!! We have used them before for smaller jobs but this year we had them rip out our 30+ year old furnace, A/C condenser, coil, and 15+ year old water heater in our condo. Paul Gagne did a great job helping us pick the right equipment and ensure we were updating the systems to code, which has changed a lot in 30 years! We can sleep better knowing we aren't going to die from CO2 poisoning with the new system! The crew who did the work was clean, professional, neat, honest, polite and very friendly. They kept the condo unit clean while they did their work each day making sure everything was neat and tidy before they left. I can not say enough good things about these guys! I haven't used them in years. Don't give them your email, you WILL get at least one or two stupid emails a month. Guess this was one too many emails there Jim boy. Never send a customer who hasn't used you in a long time an email asking them to rate you. That's silly.
Since I am rating you let's be fair. Service was good. They did the job they were hired to do. I didn't have to call them back which is what you want from a plumber right. The prices weren't anything spectacular but they were in line with everyone else.
Now stop sending me emails. Your emails are like that annoying meal time telemarketer. Trust me if I have a leaky pipe I know where to find you. I did before.

I had a Bradford White 40 gallon Hydrojet water heater installed and the final price was $1562. Job was good, but the price was way to much
Hang up the phone on customer. I don't do business with them because if something happen after their installation and I have to call them. I don't know if they will be responsible for it or they will hang up on me when I call them for support.
