So ridiculously fast to respond and always the most cost effective. Had a water main at the street blow out and the city came to shut it off pending repair. Had three different plumbing companies quote us at $790, $850, and $2,010. Secretan shows up and quotes us at $250. It is fixed within two hours. Have had him back twice to fix ruptured pipes and broken heating elements in our water heater and the guy is always completely reasonable in pricing and so quick in completing any and all work. Wish more plumbers were like him.

Jim came to my house several times when I was a young divorced Mom. He was honest and fair and provided great service. To comment on the poor review - Its not fair to write a bad review for a worker who has a service fee to show up. That is how the blue collar industry works. Should he not get any pay because the repair was easy? The lady's Mom should have called her daughter or used a snake to unclog before calling a professional. My husband does computer repair. He has a 'minimum' fee to show up also. This is what working professionals do. One time the user did not have paper in the printer and that is why he could not print. Unfortunately we have kids to feed and used our gas and time to get there so the minimum charge was appropriate.

My 76 year old mother contacted Jim for a clogged toilet and was charged $65 to plunge the toilet. When I called about the charges he stated he gave her a break, normal cost was $75 for a house call. Wow! Wish I could make $65 for plunging a toilet... Perhaps this is normal??? Jim seems to think this is ethical...
