I had Jim install a new gas stove. He was responsive and timely in scheduling the install. His costs were very reasonable and the quality of his work is excellent. I would highly recommend him.

Been using Jim Richard plumbing for over a year now. He and his nephew have been here a few times for both plumbing on pipes and to work on my furnaces. Never had a problem with anything they've done and the price is right. Would recommend them for sure !

Jim changed the fixtures in my tub/shower and bathroom sink today. He (and Matt) did an excellent job. Clearly Jim is an experienced plumber; he is efficient, neat, organized and a problem-solver. The work looks beautiful. I followed his product recommendation because I decided it was worth relying on his experience. And the bonus is that he is responsive; he answers texts promptly, schedules within a reasonable time frame, he comes when he says he will and on time, and finishes when he says he will. He charges a competitive, reasonable amount.

I've found it difficult to find a reliable and high quality plumber, but Jim (and Matt) did an excellent job re-plumbing the drain system in my basement. I needed to create more headroom with several 3-4"" PVC lines running too low out of the bays. It was not a simple job to figure out how to run everything... several other plumbers told me it would be too tricky. Jim gave me a fair quote and said he could do it in between larger jobs over the next four weeks. He was in touch 2 weeks later to schedule a time for the following week. Showed up right on time (without me even confirming), did the entire job just as asked and was out by 3pm. Very happy and would highly recommend him.

I've hired Jim Richard for several jobs in my home in Somerville and am very satisfied with his work. Jobs included: new plumbing both gas and water lines for a kitchen and bath renovation. He also replaced a large portion of my house's vent stack. Jim is trustworthy because he arrives when he says he will arrive, and answers emails/texts promptly.
