Jim saved me last night! My radiator started spraying water at about 12:30am. I called about 5 different ""24 hour"" plumbers near me, none of whom picked up the phone. Fortunately Jim did. He was further away, but said he would come out if I needed him to. But first he told me to try an old school trick of sticking a pencil in the part of the radiator that was spewing out water, allowing the wood to expand and stop the leakage. I didn't have a pencil, but used an old flower stem that I had, and it did the job. Saved my night and my apt, and allowed me to sleep until I could contact building management in the morning. I'm definitely glad he picked up the phone.

Don't believe the positive reviews. I'm a consumer advocate lawyer for a living and I must say I think this is one of the worst service companies I have run across. I called them to assist in fixing a non working Gas line BBQ grill which had no gas.. while they came promptly, it went downhill from there. They did not say a word about any charges in advance . They diagnosed the problem that there was water in the line so that the gas line either needed to be replaced or repaired. They did not show or tell me where inside the house the line went into so I could even give the info to another plumber, but they assured me they would promptly get me estimates to fix the problem promptly as I wanted it fixed before July 4th High was10 Days later. They misled me in saying they would get right back to me and it could be all fixed in a day.

The worker then demanded I pay him $367 on the spot in simply diagnosing the problem saying the owner ""May"" later take it off if I did the job. However , I was never told where the gas line even is inside my house to be able to use another plumber if I chose , so their ""work"" was useless to me unless I used only them and more importantly they never got back to me with any estimates - basically left me hanging Despite numerous phone calls, Messages, etc to them and they promising me each time the owner would get back to me when he didn't. So much for my July 4th plans tomorrow, courtesy of Jim Moscone .

So now I am starting from scratch and $367 poorer due to this scam of a ""plumber "". I intend to challenge my credit card ( now I understand why they didn't accept Amex as Amex would not put up with this crap in screwing their clients - red flag !) and if need be I will sue ( I'm a consumer rights lawyer) this plumber in Bergen County small claims court as I have successfully done with other service companies who rip people off and think people won't do anything..

The best! I wouldn't call anyone else. My original plumber ( all state plumbing) messed up a leaking bathroom faucet problem to a bigger mess! They came and saved me. Very professional!

Job was done (putting in a p-trap,sink drain and stopper, cleared
drain. Total time 1hour and 45 minutes written on bill. Total bill
was $491.67. The parts cost $67.00. The work done was A-OK
If you decide to use this plumber get a price quote first.

A company that sent someone who didn't know what he was doing, had to call in to know how to go by, and then charged a lawyer's fee when nothing was done on the customer's part. I don't recommend this company at all. I'm afraid that more damage has been done now.

Honest, knowledgeable, professional, and caring--Plumbing establishments do not get any better than Jim Moscone's. I have used them for twenty-five years, and they are the BEST!

I needed a Plumber to replace a portion of my steam heat pipe. My regular plumber switched to commercial only; so, I was in the position of having to find a new plumber. I'm not sure about you, but it's not easy to find one you can trust. Another website mentioned Jim Moscone Plumbing and the Yelp reviews were good; so, I took a shot. Mike showed up, told me the rate and provided best and worst case scenarios. With the worst case scenario price being acceptable I agreed. The work completed in under the best case scenario and was under what I thought I would be paying. What a great first impression!! Jim Mascone Plumbing are punctual, honest, professional, and will be my go to plumber in the future.

I called on a Saturday and was provided expeditious and professional service and very fair and reasonable rates. They were very responsive and solved our problem correctly the first time. Honest, humble, friendly, efficient and responsive.

I had to share as not every service contractor is as conscientious as Jim Moscone. I had zero heat overnight and called the next morning at 730 and by 8am someone was at my door. The problem was fixed and appreciate the immediate attention. When there is a crisis no one handles it better.

Had emergency water main break in my basement. My call was answered immediately and proper advice given to get emergency Suez water shut off. Biz owner asked me to call him as soon as that gets done. I didn't expect this really nice treatment for a random emergency call on a Saturday at 6 AM . I feel very confident.
