I needed a plumber for the usual, ""short list"", did some research and based on it, including Yelp, called Jim. He called back , estimated when he was available and then called me even two days sooner. He was on time and ready.
We walked through the jobs, he assured me he could take care of all of them that day. Less than 90 mins later, my list was finished. No drama or mystery, done. Very reasonable. What a nice experience. Hes a gentleman on top of all his skill.
I'd recommend him for sure. He does electrical work and heating. Thanks Jim.

I found Jim Frantin here on Yelp, and I then went to his website. Everything looked legit, so I called his office number in case he was out in the field. I got his voice mail and left a message. He called me the next day, and I asked if he could replace a bathroom sink faucet and drain assembly. I already bought the faucet, so I needed a plumber to remove the old one and install the new one. Eventually, he followed up with me and was able to travel to my house one day after the initial call. Although I wasn't in a rush, it was still good fortune that Jim was available in a short amount of time.

Jim came prepared to do the work with his tools, plumbing materials, and floor cover. I talked to him on and off for about 10-15 minutes about his background and my job request. Jim is a nice guy, with a laid back and down-to-earth personality. He explained the work he was doing without hesitation and shared his insights about my sink and bathroom set up. He was able to complete the job in under 2 hours and charged a very reasonable price for parts and labor.

I definitely have Jim on my short list of contractors and hope to hire him again for more work later.

Jim has worked on different house projects for us for years and has always done a wonderful job. From flooded basements and leaky faucets to challenging bathroom renovations, he's the best man for the job.

If you're looking for an honest plumber, keep looking. I would never leave such a bad review for something trivial, but in this case it is necessary. He quoted me a price for a service over the phone, when he arrived he said it wasn't necessary to do all of it. But he still charged me the same price anyway. He said it was the price agreed upon on the phone. Yes, the price for the job was agreed upon, but the job changed, with work involved significantly reduced. I felt like I was ripped off. As I said, if you're looking for a good, honest plumber, keep looking. Luckily, since this miserable experience with Jim Frantin, I've found one.

Jim is fantastic! he was so knowledgable and thorough I would definitely hire him again. Just for reference, we had a dishwasher installed (where there had not been one) and he did the plumber, electric and mounting. We also had him fix the hookup to our gas grill. It is not often you come across someone so nice and easy to work with- I would 100% recommend him.

Always on time and is super responsive. He doesn't look to gouge you and always explains what he is doing. If you have an emergency, you can count on him. I like the fact that he is both a plumber and an electrician. It's like one stop shopping. I trust him to come into my house when I am not there. He is very neat too.
