Company Overview

As a family-owned enterprise, Jim Dickerson Company provides services to Charlotte and the surrounding communities. Jim, who hails from Charlotte, learned the plumbing trade from his father-in-law, Chester H. Creed, and gained valuable experience working with him before establishing his own business.

Jim and Judy Dickerson founded Jim Dickerson Plumbing in 1977. From humble beginnings as a one-truck operation, we have steadily expanded, and today we have a robust fleet of service vehicles prepared to serve you.

In response to customer requests, we have introduced Electrical and Heating and Air divisions to our offerings. As a result, our extensive customer base can access the same reliable and honest service for their Electrical and HVAC needs that they trust in our Plumbing services.

Our current location, a spacious 11,000 square foot facility, became our home in 2005. The 7,000 square foot warehouse at our location enables us to maintain an inventory of frequently used parts, water heaters, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring we can offer quick service, even during evenings and weekends.

After finishing college, Jim's daughters, Debbie and Angie, became part of the company and now manage the office's daily operations, which encompass Customer Service, Sales and Marketing, and Accounting.
