Company Overview

The Jim Dickerson Company, a family-operated establishment, caters to the Charlotte region and nearby locales. Jim, who hails from Charlotte, learned the plumbing trade from his father-in-law, Chester H. Creed, and gained valuable experience working with him before establishing his own business.

In 1977, Jim and his wife Judy established Jim Dickerson Plumbing. From humble beginnings as a one-truck operation, we have steadily expanded, and today we have a robust fleet of service vehicles prepared to serve you.

In response to customer requests, we have introduced Electrical and Heating and Air divisions to our offerings. This addition allows our many customers to receive the same trustworthy and reliable service for their Electrical and HVAC requirements that they have grown accustomed to with our Plumbing services.

We moved to our present 11,000 square foot location in 2005. Our facility includes a 7,000 square foot warehouse, allowing us to keep a wide range of essential parts, water heaters, fixtures, and equipment in stock, which helps us deliver timely service, even outside of normal business hours and on weekends.

Jim's daughters, Debbie and Angie, joined the company after completing their college education and currently oversee the daily operations of the office, including Customer Service, Sales and Marketing, and Accounting.
