Company Overview

Jim Dickerson Company is a family-run business that proudly serves Charlotte and its neighboring areas. A Charlotte local, Jim acquired his plumbing skills from his father-in-law, Chester H. Creed, and collaborated with him for several years prior to founding his own company.

The year 1977 marked the inception of Jim Dickerson Plumbing, created by Jim and his wife Judy. What started as a single truck operation has expanded significantly over the years, and now we boast a sizable fleet of service vehicles ready to assist you.

Due to increasing customer demand, we have expanded our services to include Electrical and Heating and Air divisions. This expansion enables our thousands of clients to enjoy the same dependable and honest service for their Electrical and HVAC needs that they have come to expect from our Plumbing services.

In 2005, we relocated to our current facility, which spans 11,000 square feet. This site features a 7,000 square foot warehouse that allows us to stock a variety of commonly used parts, water heaters, fixtures, and equipment, enabling us to provide prompt service even after regular business hours and on weekends.

Following their college graduation, Jim's daughters, Debbie and Angie, decided to join the family business and now handle the everyday operations of the office, including Customer Service, Sales and Marketing, and Accounting.
