Company Overview

Jim Dickerson Company is a family-run business that proudly serves Charlotte and its neighboring areas. Jim, a lifelong resident of Charlotte, mastered the plumbing craft under the guidance of his father-in-law, Chester H. Creed, and spent many years working alongside him before launching his own venture.

The year 1977 marked the inception of Jim Dickerson Plumbing, created by Jim and his wife Judy. What started as a single truck operation has expanded significantly over the years, and now we boast a sizable fleet of service vehicles ready to assist you.

In response to customer requests, we have introduced Electrical and Heating and Air divisions to our offerings. This expansion enables our thousands of clients to enjoy the same dependable and honest service for their Electrical and HVAC needs that they have come to expect from our Plumbing services.

Our current location, a spacious 11,000 square foot facility, became our home in 2005. The 7,000 square foot warehouse at our location enables us to maintain an inventory of frequently used parts, water heaters, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring we can offer quick service, even during evenings and weekends.

Jim's daughters, Debbie and Angie, joined the company after completing their college education and currently oversee the daily operations of the office, including Customer Service, Sales and Marketing, and Accounting.
