About two weeks ago we were having low pressure upstairs in all the faucets in our house and couldn't figure out why. We called Jiffy and Pete called us on Saturday and stopped by first thing on Sunday morning. After checking a number of things upstairs and down, he finally determined that the issue was our actual filters on the taps. After removing them and testing everything, he cleaned them and then made a few recommendations. When we sought to pay him, Pete's integrity shown through and said he couldn't accept payment. He said that he and Jiffy guarantee their work and because the filters will inevitably get clogged again, he couldn't guarantee this. We were both surprised and impressed by Pete's forthrightness, integrity, and honesty. Thanks!

I wish I could rate them on their service, as I would like to have had them do some work for me. However, I scheduled an appointment and was given a morning service window, and after coordinating with my neighbor and both of us taking off of work to receive the plumbers, no one ever showed up or called. When I called, they said they'd have to reschedule to another day. Very disappointed as I used a full vacation day to accommodate this no call/no show.

We have a bizarre mystery problem with our septic, and while these guys were not able to fully resolve it, they did a pretty thorough investigation with a camera (and gave us a well labeled copy of the video!), gave suggestions on who to contact, and provided a wealth of expert advice and information that I think gave us good progress toward an eventual fix.

We spent $89 for them to diagnose (not fix) our problem. Scheduled them to come out this morning to do the repair and at almost 7:00 PM still waiting. Finally cancelled and they can't get us on the schedule another time. But we can be on a ""wait list""! We've been waiting all day already (and stayed home from work....). No thanks.

We had a number of minor plumbing issues and called Jiffy yesterday. They have already come out and I cannot say enough great things about Chris our tech and our overall experience with the company. Besides the competency of completing our requests, what made this company so good was their ability to explain and communicate. We knew exactly what the expert was thinking, he showed us what he did, and helped educate us for the future.

DO NOT USE JIFFY PLUMBING FOR ANY PLUMBING NEEDS!
I recently called Jiffy for a burst pipe under my kitchen sink. I waited until the next day as not to have emergency charges. Bawia Hauchum came to my home. To cap the cold and hot pipes into my kitchen so I could restore water to the rest of my home cost $569.00. Just to cap the pipes not repair them. He stated he would then need to come back for $1100 to actually repair the pipes. He needed to change the PVC pipe to copper. OUTRAGEOUS. I was at the hospital with my husband at the time so I said ok. He never cleaned up his mess and threw the insulation he removed all over the floor, shelving, washer, and sink. He tried to sell me a hot water heater replacement while he was there for $2425. I KNEW I WOULD NEVER HAVE HIM COME TO MY HOUSE AGAIN. I called James Mabie, a licensed plumber to hook up my kitchen sink pipes. He replaced the PVC pipe with copper pipe and cleaned up the mess Jiffy left. All this for $150.00, the same job Jiffy was going to do for a total of $1667.00. UNBELIEVEABLE. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Do not use Jiffy Plumbing and Heating for ANYTHING

Hired them to replace a heat pump in my rental condo. They removed the old unit and I asked them to leave it behind so I could scrap it. They told me they HAD to take it to the shop to get the freon out of it but that was a lie. They had the equipment to do so on their truck. When I called the office about they didnt do anything so they basically stole my property.

Next they did a shitty installation. When the technician arrived he was completely exhausted and stressed out, like he was badly hungover. He also smelled like smoke. He was unaware he had to fix the gaping hole in the exterior wall left by the removal of the original unit so he cut up a piece of ductwork and put that in the hole. Looks terrible.

Next he failed to charge the unit with enough freon, as a result the unit began over condensating inside and produced a huge amount of water that flooded my occupied rental unit requiring me to file an insurance claim since their contract did not cover the damages.

Next the technician wired it wrong and it started tripping the emergency breaker circuit so my tenant was left without AC during a sweltering summer. The wiring job could have started a fire and burned the building down which I am sure their contract wouldn't cover either. I HAD TO HIRE ANOTHER COMPANY TO COME IN AND FIGURE OUT WHAT WAS WRONG

Next the unit I bought from them had a DEFECTIVE COOLING COIL made in China that soon broke down and had to be replaced for an additional $1000.00.

DO NOT HIRE THESE CLOWNS - THEY ARE NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF UNPROFESSIONAL INCOMPETENT SCUM BAG MORONS AND THIEVES

Jiffy is awesome. We had an emergency clog, and our regular plumbers promised to come but didn't. In the meantime, we could not use the sink, and we had house guests. We called Jiffy, and someone came within the hour. As they worked, I learned more about the plumbing of our old house, and he gave us sound advice. I feel like we never need be jerked around by a plumbing company again.
