Install of Combi heat/hot water system
Hmmm....I am starting to wonder about all these wonderful reviews on Google reviews about Keith from JH Moran. I have had the complete opposite result with respect to communication. Since December 17, 2020, I have been requesting for Keith to fix 2 problems - The hot water to our new system that he installed in October of 2020 does not maintain temperature and the condensate line freezes. He attempted to fix it in December, but we still have the same problems. I contacted Keith several times in February and when he finally responded he said he would ""touch base in the next few days"" - Then it is March 31 when I sent another message because he NEVER contacted me, which he finally replied to on April 6th when he says he can come by that day. What? We are at work at that time and I told him that I would be home at a certain hour. No response and he never contacted me again. Brings us to June 30th, when I inquire about the issues getting resolved. He asks, ""What issues?"" ""I can come by this week."" You have got to be kidding me so I forward copies of the prior text from February. No response. This is not a joke. Now, we are at July15th so I send another text. Keith actually responded July 16th, he can come on Tuesday 7/20. Attempts to fix problem. I asked him to contact Bosch, the company who made the uni,t to see if they could help fix the problem. July 28, 2021 The problem still did not get resolved. Sent another text - no response. October 13th sent another text - no response. We have entered fall and our hot water issue and condensate line still have not been fixed. We can not take a shower without the water getting cold or wash dishes without a temperature. problem. Keith did mention at some point there may be a problem with the valve at the shower which we attempted to fix of our own accord, but the problem still exists. As of today, October 21, 2021, we still have not heard from Keith. I find it hard to believe all of the other glowing posts about Keith and his prompt response. I do NOT recommend Keith of JH Moran Plumbing and Heating. Actually, I would say spread the word about his lack of customer service and leaving his customers in the cold!!

Truly disappointed.

I had Keith to our home to review our plumbing issues. After discussing what needed to be done, I made certain to say that the larger of the projects required, needed to be coordinated with having new countertops installed. And, with a bathtub faucet handle that would not function, I was looking forward to setting a repair date. He stated he understood. I phoned him two days after he was here for the estimate; on a Friday, and asked him if he could come on Monday as the countertops for the bathrooms were now ready. He was unavailable Monday, and Tuesday. I then stated I needed to keep a scheduled appointment as I was coordinating this function and we then both committed to the following Monday at 9 am sharp, putting my job off another week plus.

Today he was a no show and did not answer his phone. I had three people here waiting to install countertops which without the plumbing disconnected, could not be done.

Thus, as I took the day off from work, this will cost me loss of wages, and now I will incur having to compensate others for their time too.

Couldn't be more satisfied with Keith from JH Moran. This was the 2nd time I hired him and everything went amazing, wish all companies were like this! The first time I called him a few weeks ago was on a Sunday morning because I had a leaking pipe. Keith was at my house within 45 minutes... on a Sunday morning! Now a few weeks later I had Keith install a mixing valve on my boiler as well as replace a hose bib. Everything went really smooth, prices are very reasonable, and all around great, honest guy. Keith has even talked me out of doing some stuff that I inquired about because of how he said it wasn't necessary at the moment. Can't beat that kind of honesty. Very glad I found this company, for I now know I'm in good hands with all my plumbing needs.
