O.K. everyone, Are you looking for a plumber? Yeah? Look no further. I'm telling you the honest truth, you will not find anyone BETTER for the price because this is ""The Guy"". No, like I mean it. You know when you need something fixed, repaired etc. and you ask your friend for a recommendation and they say ""I gotta guy""? Welp, now you're going to be giving everyone you know John's number because this is going to be ""Your Guy"".

I initially found John on Yelp, go figure. I called him up because we were experiencing issues with our Navien CH-240 Combi-Boiler. So, being that I already called a sh*tload of other plumber's which either did not return my calls or bother to show up for our confirmed appointments, I was an emotional wreck. John picks up and listens to my desperate plea for help. So after listening to me John says ""No problem buddy. I'll come by and look at it"" and gives me a date. Now, John did have to reschedule which he promptly notified me of. Which was o.k. because this showed he cared enough to ensure that I wasn't just waiting in the wind. This is where he also get's 5 Stars for excellent communication. Alright moving on.

John shows up On-Time for our rescheduled appointment and goes straight to inspecting the boiler. John discover's the problem (Cracked Heat Exchanger). John took care of everything from the Warranty with Navien to ensuring everything was good on my end in the house. After getting the warranty approval John scheduled the new boiler install the following week which by the way he showed up On-Time and as scheduled. During the install, I was downstairs bugging John about every plumbing related question imaginable. John answered everything politely and also gave me pointers on Navien boilers.

Ok. here is where John takes the cake of being the best priced plumber hands down. After installing the boiler, John informed me of how to receive a Rebate from National Grid due to installing this boiler! Seriously, go look it up! I never knew! What a great guy.

Trust me. You won't find a better plumber than John. If he has to reschedule, don't get upset. This guy is getting so much work and it's just him. He told me that due to a shortage of plumbers from young people not wanting to get into the trades, plumbers are in high demand. However, John doesn't price gouge like the rest of these companies.

Don't look any further. Give John a call.

As someone who works in the construction industry and has seen a fair share of contractors, John has been absolutely great to work with! After purchasing a fixerupper home, he was recommended by another plumber who didn't service my area. John was profession, reasonably priced and really helpful for jobs big and small. He walked me through the process of bringing gas into my home and even recommended energy discounts through Mass Save that I was eligible for, to help with the cost of switching over from electric to baseboard heat. He pulled the proper permits, completed all the necessary pressure testing and it's clear he takes a lot of pride in his work. I have since recommended him to other people who have also had great experiences with him.

Was referred to John by another plumber who was out of town. Our gas fired steam boiler had mysteriously stopped working, even though pilot light was still on. John came and adjusted a thing or two but didn't have to replace anything - it started to work again on it's own.

Some other plumbers would have taken the opportunity to pretend that they needed a part or do extra labor. John was totally honest and didn't charge anything except his basic housecall charge. Even better, afterwards he spent over an hour going over all our radiators and explaining things I can do to make them work better - all at no charge! Pretty amazing.

Couldn't be happier with his professionalism, punctuality, kind demeanor, and overall knowledge. Since he didn't do any significant work on our heating system I can't vouch for his craftmanship, but based on what I saw, I'd highly recommend him to anyone else.

John was referred to me by another plumber. He installed an outdoor faucet as well as a kitchen faucet. His pricing is very reasonable. He was reliable and did excellent work. After being paid in full, he came back to do some minor touch ups (grouting). He even helped me out with repairing the tail light on my car. He's very nice and knowledgeable. A great plumber and a great guy!

Hot water stopped working and I called 4 different plumbers recommended by our new-ish boiler brand's website, Navien (tankless/ efficient). Some didn't respond, one said they didn't carry Navien parts, and the second-to-last said he didn't work on Naviens but recommended John McCloskey. John answered my call on a Saturday morning and was able to get the part he thought I might need before he even arrived at my house. He was extremely professional and friendly on what ended up being a super annoying, tedious job. He charged a very reasonable rate, and we have his card tacked up right by our boiler now, in case anything should go wrong. I highly recommend him.
