Jetter Clean was founded by Lee and Kris Bohrer in 1993. Following the loss of his father, Lee took over the assets of his father's drain cleaning company. At first, he used a snake machine to tackle drain cleaning. After a near-fatal incident where his hand became trapped in the machine, he realized there had to be a safer method. After years of development, Lee successfully created his patented Jet Van, which uses high-pressure water jets to clear and clean pipes.
