In 1993, Lee and Kris Bohrer established Jetter Clean. Following the loss of his father, Lee took over the assets of his father's drain cleaning company. He started with a snake machine to clean drains. After a close call with the snake machine, he understood that a safer approach was necessary. After extensive work, Lee developed his patented Jet Van that employs water jets to clear and clean drain lines.
