I reached out to this company because I had a main water line break. I spoke with someone the night it happened and they said they would be out the next day and would call me when they were on their way. I called back again in the morning, they still didn't have an estimated time frame. Around 12, I got a phone call from the technician.. by then I had called another plumber to see about getting a quote. I asked him if he would also like to come out to give me a quote.. he said yes. I never heard from him again!

When your main water line breaks, you go completely without water. That means, you can shit, shower, shave.. basic necessities. I received 3 different quotes from $5k - $8k, I think it's fair to shop around for something your going to spend that much on.

Although they didn't do the work, it would have been nice if they followed through.

The tech that responded was nice and helpful. At first they were helpful and seemed interested. Once I said anything about insurance it was hard to get them to respond. When I called them a week later they said that a week was more then exceptable timeframe and began to yell at me and then hung up on me. So much for customer service.

They were responsive when we needed someone out there, but I would not agree that their prices are fair. We also had to call them out to fix two lines that they previously were supposed to have repaired. Instead of honoring their workmanship and fixing what they failed to properly fix the first time, they billed us an additional service charge for the second visit. That may be their policy but I've worked with companies that won't do that and will honor their workmanship from previous visits. I won't be going back to Jethro Byrd.

When our usual plumber was unavailable after a recent snowstorm, we called Jethro Byrd. At first we were pleased with their initial visit, despite being an hour late. However, when we had follow-up issues and had them return, the 2 technicians were clearly wasting time (they charge by the hour, of course) and after an hour ultimately did what I initially suggested. They are very expensive, even for a plumber, and on the final visit we were charged an hour and a half for what should have taken only 15 min. Not to mention, their follow-up visit was to repair a leak that hadn't been properly fixed on their previous visit. We will not use them again.

I had several plumbing problems to be taken care of and Jethro Byrd Plumbing took care of it all in one service call. They were here the same day I placed the call, were thorough in taking care of all the problems I had, explained what was needed, answered all of my questions, and tidied up when done. I have a pending sump pump repair and will call them back when ready to tackle that. Fees are a little pricey, but within reason.

Jethro Byrd is a longtime plumbing co some might say historical, lol.
Their work is good, they keep appointments, get work done on time and clean up after themselves.
The crew is very hard working. prices are fair, not cheap but not gouging either, i.e. taking advantage of the recent weather situation.
The techs are very polite and explain what's going on to even your grandma, lol.
Would hire again.
